Chapter 1: Bright and Early

"Solar Dewdrops, Lunar Essence, enchanted water from the World Tree..."

Blossom (Aizune) checked each and every one of her ingredients one by one, making sure not to miss even the smallest vial.
After she was sure nothing was out of place, she adjusted her bag and got up to exit out of her tent.
Her head poked out of the cover and was blasted by harsh sunlight. What time was it, 7 AM?
She blinked her eyes and rose to her full height, now free from the slightly cramped area.
The campfire had died out and all that was left was a few pieces of charred log. Maybe her fire magic was too strong.
She looked back inside her tent, Static (Elekitty) was still asleep.
She creeped outside to check the other tents, everyone was still asleep, except for the fact that one of her friends was missing.
Blossom sighed and approached the tangled vine rope that came pouring down from a high area and began to climb.
When she reached the top, she walked closer to the windmill and looked up at the balcony, squinting her eyes to avoid being blinded by the sunlight.
At the front of the balcony, tilting their head to the sun calmly was Synthesis (Solareign) who'd gotten up early to enjoy the sunlight.
Blossom groaned and trudged up the long, spiraling stairs and appeared behind Synthesis.

"What are you doing up so early?" Blossom said as Synthesis turned to face her.
"What are you doing up here?" Synthesis would say, with a chuckle.
Blossom rolled her eyes "You shouldn't keep randomly teleporting like this, it could scare the soul out of Pollen (Florafluff)."
"That's why I do it so early, they'll all be asleep." Synthesis said as Blossom crossed her arms.
"Well at least get down, we could wake up the others now that 2 of us are awake." Blossom said.

The two of them climbed down from the windmill, down the vine, and hopped back onto the camping ground.
Synthesis nudged Clover (Clovurr), who was sleeping in the same tent as her awake.

"AH! What's going on?!" Clover jumped up immediately and looked straight at Synthesis who laughed, heartily.
"Nothing! Why so scared?" Synthesis would say.
"Oh you!.." Clover exclaimed, but sat down with a grumpy expression. "Stop shocking me all the time!"
"Well, they say I'm full of surprises." Synthesis chuckled. "I just thought that since Blossom and I both woke up early, we'd wake everyone else up as well."

The two of them exited the tent and sat down just outside it to wait for everyone else.
Meanwhile, Blossom entered her tent in the middle and shook Static awake.

"Ugh...stop that.." Static groaned a half sat up.
"Come on, everyone else's awake." Blossom said, trying to convince Static.
"Ugh fine.." Static sat up groggily and left the tent shortly after Blossom did to go wake up the others.

Static found Synthesis and Clover, deciding to sit with them.

"Ugh, did Blossom force you to wake up too?" Static groaned.
"Well, I forced Clover to wake up. I woke up before everyone else." Synthesis said with a chuckle as clover made an annoyed hiss.
Static sat down on Synthesis's right and said "I guess we just wait for everyone else to get up too."

Blossom entered the tent on the left, where Lullaby, (Lullafairy), Pollen and Sketch (Sketchop) were sleeping.
This time she slowly woke up the 3 as they groaned and stretched.

"Oh, good morning.." Lullaby said sleepily as she unwrapped her string from the bar on the top of the tent which they'd installed for her to sleep on.
"Uuuugh..why is it so early?" Pollen stretched and flew to Blossom's height
"Eh..Synthesis's up early so might as well wake up the whole crew." Blossom said as Pollen snorted.
"CUT THAT OUT!!" Sketch screeched and started kicking the air where Blossom had been.
"Okay, okay, chill.." Blossom sighed.

Sketch cantered out of her tent angrily towards the group of 3 waiting by the right tent, followed by Blossom, Lullaby and Pollen.
The three settled down together and started to chat.

"Alright, so what's the "important thing" that I was woken up for?" Static growled and gave an annoyed look to Blossom, who sighed.
"There was no "important thing". Blossom decided to wake everyone up because the 2 of us were already up." Synthesis said matter-of-factly, making most of the group turn to look at Blossom.
Clover felt her stomach rumble and exclaimed "I'm hungry, we should get something to eat.."
"Well..when I was hunting for some flowers, I found a nearby farm with a ton of pumpkins!" Pollen exclaimed excitedly.
"I guess we can get some breakfast there if nobody cares about us eating their crops." Static said.
"I haven't actually tried pumpkin before." Lullaby said, interested.
"Well, let's get going!" Blossom exclaimed, as they went to the farm in search of a good meal.
