To the corner

My morning was indescribably perfect. It was raining heavily with thunderstorms and lightening. I had this obsession with the dark weather from a very young age. The dark side of the world fascinates me . There were numerous times when I used to pray for a vampire to come and be my companion . The dark fictions I read is a pathway to a dream world that I have in mind. Lola on the other hand is whipped for everything pretty and sweet. She's the kind of girl that you'll fall in love with ,at first sight.
Speaking of lola, she is the one who chose my clothes this day. My bags are shattered across the room and my wardrobe look awful. I couldn't believe how messy it grew while I was at the hospital.
The rain stopped after noon and the weather remained moody, creating the ambience for a perfect peaceful night.
I sighed.
"LOLLLLLLL....BE QUUICKKKKK!" I screamed.
"COMINNNN'" She shouted from across the room.

By the time, Clave arrived on his car . Not that I like to praise him but, Clave looked fine . I got stunned for a moment, watching his black suit, lavender tie and that slick hairstyle.
I let out a whistle as he got out of the car.
"Hey there gentleman" I laughed.
"yes your majesty"
"Are you going to a wedding or what?" I asked.
"No ..we are going on a date."
"haha..nice joke." I replied.
"I'm serious."
"I'm not interested though."
"Dumbo..I'm taking Lola on a date. Yours will be here soon." he replied.
"what the-? Are you for real?" , I grew annoyed for a moment and took some deep breathes to calm my nerves before speaking.
"Are you for REAL?" I asked again.
"Hey chill..You've been in a bubble of hell for a long time. Let's just have some fun, Can't we?"
"But why do you wanna make it a date? Tskk.. I'm not interested in dating anyone at the moment anyways." I replied , disappointment filling my face.
he sighed. "Ina... please ...I promise you...you'll enjoy this."
Suddenly, an another car appeared infront of me . A guy with a familiar figure got out of the car. His appearance made my jaw drop to the ground. I felt as if he was an angel sent by Gods. I passed a glance at Clave, raising my eyebrows with excitement. Clave responded to it with a wink.
He walked towards me, making my heart race out of my chest.
He stood right in front of me and spoke. "Hey..You look beautiful".
I immediately blushed , hearing his comment. "You look magnificent" I replied staring deep into his eyes. There was something about him that made me feel some type of way. He felt like home. He was gazing at me with a smirk on his face .
Lola appeared soon and we decided to go to a place I was familiar with..
"Indigo" I read the board in my mind. A voice replied to me
"Do you know this place?" he asked .
"Yes. I think I've been here before ." I replied.
All the four of us entered the huge restaurant and placed ourselves around a table.
We had a great time together and I found that the guy Clave brought was not too bad. I was indeed happy that he was the guy who visited me at the hospital saying he was an old friend.
Too bad that I can't remember him . I almost forgot everything that was bothering me for a moment.They were all so much fun to be around. Lola chugged a lot of champagne and got drunk . I couldn't stop laughing at her weirdness at this point.
The night felt fresh somehow and I felt lIght as feather by the end of the day. After all the rollercoasters, a night out was all I needed.

"Is there a playground?" I whispered into his ears , doubting if I got it wrong.
He looked at me with an expression I hadn't seen before.
"Should we check?" he raised a browser.
"mmhmm.."
he pulled my wrist and walked passed the chairs until we saw a door.
"Omg..it's really here." I murmured in excitement. He grinned hearing my squeaky voice and pushed the door open.
There was the playground. I ran into it , squeaking in joy. I didn't know why I was so happy to be there.
He followed me in a slow pace , chuckling from time to time.
We spent a lot of time having fun and finally exhausted ourselves. He sat beside me ,both of us facing the moonlight.
"Are you happy?" He asked after breathing in deeply.
"A lot!..thank you for today." I replied.
My eyes wandered through his eyes which were doing the same . His eyes then moved towards my lips and then back to my eyes. I kissed him before he even had a chance to initiate it.
I pulled away to see his face. He was red like a tomato , his eyes almost teary.
"what happened?" I asked.
"I love you ." He replied.
