Chapter 12

Lauren and Luke fell into a normal routine of calling and texting each other, mostly during their free time.

Lauren, is back at school, still quiet about her new found music taste and the guy who causes butterflies inside of her. She keeps Luke a secret, not because Luke asked her, but because she don't want to cause drama in Luke's world.

Luke, on the other hand, is very happy at what Lauren does, he finds it nice that she is not after him for fame, he genuinely knows that Lauren's feelings for him are real and not just because he's a famous band member. Luke try his best to find every single way to have time for Lauren. Their tour with Maroon 5 had ended a week ago. May has been a very busy month for their band, but it's almost come to end.

Luke tries his best to send Lauren lots of things to remind of her that he is still there and pursuing her, despite the distance between them, the two are doing their best on making it work.

Lauren was still afraid of course. That one day, she has to let go of Luke because their worlds are two complete different thing. But she knows that for now, the best thing is find a way to work it with him and maybe they will figure out the rest. She still hasn't answered Luke, simply because he still is not asking her, he always said his feelings but never the thing that he wants this official, she just thinks that Luke is busy on some things that the thought hasn't crossed his mind. But she knows how true Luke wants this thing they have.

They have grown to be each other's bestfriend. Lauren is Luke's getaway from all his insane world. While Luke is Lauren's foundation that inspires her to keep on doing a great job.

There was never a day that they don't throw rants at each other. They always know what each other was feeling even though they we're on different places.

They always remember to call each other if something is bothering them.

Prom was incoming in Lauren's school and she always tell Luke about it. A lot of guys have asked her out, but she don't know why she always turn them down. She was always asked by her friends, why, but she always just shrugged them off. Days went by and Lauren turned down almost all the guy that asked her out. Maybe she was waiting for Luke, but she always tells Luke about it and he never mentioned anything on asking her.

Luke on the other hand, does not want to ignore it. He don't want Lauren going out with another guy. The idea of some other guy dancing with Lauren kills him.

"Carl, do we have anything plan next week?" He asked their manager.

"Not so far Luke. Why?"

"Can I you know, ask for an off?"

"I'll see Luke. But I cant promise you 100% that I can give you that. We have 30% chance as far as I see" Carl said leaving him. Luke became sad fast. He badly wants to ask Lauren, he want to be there at her first prom, at their first prom together. But sadly, looks like he can't find a way.

He avoided Lauren throughout the entire week, as much as he does not want to, he had to so that Lauren will not get her hopes up on him asking her.

But he can't stand the fact of not talking with Lauren, it kills him.

"I am so excited for the prom Luke. My mom already brought my dress" Lauren said as he showed Luke her dress through facetime. They are 3 hours apart and it was along 5 AM in Miami and 2 AM in Los Angeles. Lauren just woke up from her sleep and was about to go to school when Luke texted her and they facetimed each other.

''It suits you babe. You deserved to be a prom queen" Luke said trying to hide his yawn.

"Nah, I dont think so. But i'll just be happy if they notice me"
