Chapter 20

Lauren woke up earlier than usual, her phone keeps ringing by her bedside. She groans reaching for her phone.

"Hello?"

"Morning sleepyhead. chop chop lolo, school's coming and it's your birthday, let me remind you"

"Shut up"

"HEY LAUREN HAPPY BIRTHDAY" someone shouted at the back of the other line.

"Luke was that Calum shouting with his mouth full?"

"Yes and he just spit his food on me... Calum please, ew get off me... Ash please hand me the towel, yeah. Calum spit his food on me, you said so, he's a total asshole" Lauren listened to her boyfriend, half- awake, talking with his bandmates, she smile as she imagines how frustrated Luke is now for having a spit food on his body.

"Hi Lauren. Luke washed his hands"

"Oh hi there Calum. It's alright, we know he have sanitation issues"

"You said so he is like a gi.. Hey... in case you havent remembered that's my phone asshole i can talk to her.. alright i let this one go. Lauren, hello, ill pass it on to Luke now he is crying pleading for the phone haha"

"Alright thanks Cal"

"Hi babe sorry for that. Calum is being himself again"

"He's cute"

"Hey"

"But you're cuter dork"

"Ha i know. Get up now and eat your breakfast. Enjoy your day baby, sorry can't be there"

"I understand Luke. Goodluck recording" With that said, Lauren ended the call and stand up to get ready.

It was her birthday, and it's been a week since her almost first sex happened. they never talked about it, they guessed it was one of those things to leave behind. Lauren was more proud of her boyfriend for having control while she is losing it. She frowns as she remembers that they are going to leave next week for their Asian tour, and they are still trying to figure out how to see each other.

As she was done preparing, she goes down to their kitchen, greeted by her family and rushed off to school. She was also greeted out in their school throughout the day.

"Hey Lauren!" A guy shouted amidst the sea of people that occurs every time the school ends.

Lauren turned around to find the owner of the voice to see Luis standing at the bus stop near her school.

"Akashi!"

"Hey there little girl! Happy Birthday" Luis said messing Lauren's hair with his left hand while his right holds his athlete bag.

"I'm not little you douche bag. I'm 16 now ha. And why are you here?"

"Whatever you're still my little Lauren Michelle" Luis replied smiling while pinching Lauren's cheeks like a kid. "... oh and I'm here because we are allowed to use your field, since from what I heard is that your softball team coach is on leave?" Luis added gaining a nod from Lauren.

"Yeah Mrs. Santos is going to visit her family today downtown. Anywaaay, you coming over tonight? Mom is expecting you plus Daddy is still into that Salsa dance fight"

"Can't. We have extensive training today since we got your field for free, and the meets are coming close"

"I see" Lauren frowned upon hearing this. Her mother set up a little dinner for her friends, but looks like one of her close guy friends is not coming.

"Smile birthday girl. How about Alexa and the gang?"

"They also passed since they had to practice for cheersquad. Looks like everyone is busy for the meet except me and the softball team"
