The wedding reception was held immediately after Snake's recovery from that fight. The reception was a big open room that had a beautiful view of the beach as it looked over the ocean as well as having a great view of the nearby mountains. Before entering the room, Tarantula put on a black zip up hoodie over her dress. Before she zipped it up though, Piranha's words came back into her head. So rather then zipping it up, she left it unzipped.
"Come on buddy..." Wolf nudged Snake. "You gotta give a speech."
"Do I have to? I almost got stabbed today..." Snake begrudgingly asked.
"It's kind of the best man's job to say a few words about his buddy." Wolf insisted. Princess then used her cutisum, on Snake.
"Alright, but I'm not getting up!" Snake said. Snake always falls for that trick.
"Fine by me." Wolf said.
Snake sat up in his seat, and raised his cup.
"Now, I'm not one for long speeches...so I'll keep this short." Snake said.
"I've known Wolf as far back as I can remember, I've been his best friend and maybe even a father figure to him. Maybe not a great father, but I digress. Anyways, once Diane came into the picture, I was a bit nervous over what she did to my boy... I had a whole set of flash cards to insult you with but I forgot them at home. So you're safe.... for now. Honestly, I'm nursing a wound right now and I need to rest a bit so just pretend I said a lot of fancy words that basically meant 'Congratulations guys and welcome to the family, Diane."
The crowd applauded.
"I wanna say some things, you okay with that?" Shark asked.
"Go ahead." Wolf said.
"Not a problem." Diane added.
"Thanks!" Shark said.
Wolf and Diane are probably going to regret letting their friend take the floor.
"Hello everyone! Glad you could make it here to the wedding and if you ask me, these two should have done this a LONG time ago! Right?" Shark said as he looked over to Piranha and Tarantula, both nodding in agreement.
"El lobo y el zorro se están haciendo TOTALMENTE el chingar......" Piranha muttered under his breath.
"Took them long enough..." Tarantula muttered.
"Right everyone? It seemed REALLY obvious they had a thing! Especially after that charity gala, you all know what I'm talking about!" He told to the audience, they too nodding in agreement.
"That guy knows exactly what I'm talking about! I saw him there!" Shark said as he pointed to a man in the back.
"SHARK!" Both Wolf and Diane shouted, bringing Shark back to reality.
"Right, right! Sorry about that!" Shark apologized. "Anyways, I'm glad you two finally resolved your tension and I got a cool 300 bucks out of it! Congrats!" He said raising a glass.
"Now with that out of the way, LET'S GET LOCO!' Piranha shouted.
