timothée's pov

"Alright, welcome back. Timothée Chalamet is here and we're going to be playing a game called burning questions!" Ellen says and the crowd erupts in cheers.

She turns to look at me. "Do you know how to play?" she asks.

"Yes." I nod.

"Great," she says "let's get started. As my guest, you'll answer a question first."

"Alright." I say, watching the screen in front of us roll with questions and wait until it lands on one.

"What is the last lie you told?" Ellen reads it off.

"That I wasn't nervous to play this game." I say and hit the button, making everyone laugh.

The next question rolls. "What famous person's voice do you wish you had?" I ask.

"Morgan Freeman for sure." she says and hits her button. "Good choice." I say and the roll begins.

"Have you or have you not been dating the costar of your upcoming film?"

I look at her, she has a smirk on her lips. I knew she would do something like this. The audience chatters and breaks into "Ooo's."

"No, I have not been dating the costar of my upcoming film." I say and hit my button.

Ellen stares at me in silence, expecting me to have given a different response. "What?"

"We're an honest show here," she says "we don't like liars."

"I'm not lying!" I exclaim and the audience laughs once again.

"Sure you aren't." she squints and we turn our attention to the screen for the next question.

"What do you do when you can't sleep?" I ask.

"I'll usually bother my wife," she laughs "but if she doesn't want to deal with me, I'll go down to the kitchen and make some coffee."

"Hot or iced?" I ask.

"Hot." she responds. "Last question." she says as they start to roll.

"Describe your three favorite parts of a woman." she reads and the audience "ooo's" again.

I try to hide my embarrassed smile and refrain from thinking about y/n. "Eyes, brain and heart." I respond quickly, the audience "aww's."

"Nothing else?" Ellen asks me.

"Nothing else." I say, following with a laugh.

"And do those eyes, brain and heart belong to a specific someone you're seeing, Timothée?"

I shake my head. "No, they do not."

"Are you sure?" she digs.

"I'm sure." I smile and press my button.

"Sure you are." she says and turns back to the camera. "I want to thank Timothée Chalamet for being here with me today and playing a game of burning questions. Stick around because we'll be right back to discuss his new movie."

"Thank you!" I say as the audience stands up to clap and cheer, the director yells cut.

three hours later...

I pull into my parking spot, finally getting home.

I get out of the car and walk through the parking garage, taking the elevator to get up to the floor my apartment is on.

Once I get into my apartment, I drop my bags and take off my shoes. I close the door and walk over to the kitchen to get water.

I take the bottle with me to my room and set it on my nightstand, climbing into bed. I press a kiss to her forehead, waking her up.

"Hey." she groans, a small smile starting to form on her lips.

"Hi." I move her hair out of her face.

"How did it go?" she asks, trying to keep her eyes open.

"Fine." I sigh.

"It doesn't sound like it went fine." she says, giving in and closing her eyes.

"Well, I talked about the movie and we played burning questions."

"That's nice." she says with her tired voice.

"And you were brought up."

"What?" she asks, popping her eyes open. "She brought me up?"

I nod. "Multiple times."

"Please tell me you just talked about us acting in the movie together." she whines.

"I did," I nod "but she still wouldn't stop asking if we're dating."

"And did you tell her that we are?"

"No, I told her we weren't." I did in fact tell her that - only while y/n laid here in my bed all day, waiting for me to come back.

Y/n sighs, a disappointed look on her face. "I hate this." she voices, interlocking our fingers.

"I don't."

"You don't hate the fact that we have to hide away from everyone and lie about being in a relationship?" she asks.

I shake my head. "No, I don't hate it. I'd rather have you all to myself, it makes this all the more.. sacred." I explain.

"Then keep me sacred, in or out of the public eye, will you?" she chuckles.

"I will." I nod.

"What kind of burning questions did Ellen ask?"

"What was the last I told, whether or not I was dating you, and what my three favorite parts of a woman are."

"And what did you say?" y/n smirks.

"That I lied about not being nervous to play the game."

Y/n laughs. "No, what did you say to the other question?" she asks

Given the fact that we've covered the dating question, she's referring to the favorite parts one.

"Eyes, brain, heart." I smile.

"Aww, how sweet." she mocks.

"Would you rather I have said your butt, boobs and an explicit body part instead?"

"No." she blushes. "But do you really like my eyes, brain and heart too?" she asks.

"Yes," I nod "I love them, actually."

"Love them more than my explicit body part?" she raises an eyebrow.

"They come very close." I smile and she laughs as I kiss her.
