The Secret Girl {ON HOLD}

Chapter 6

A.N. two chapters in one week! So something mildly important happens in This chapter and there's some swearing, but not as much as last chapter.

Anastasia's POV

Violet leads me to where the entrance of Hufflepuff is.

"How do I get in?"

"Well, I will go in and you will follow, simple as that." It can't be that simple, we could get caught! Usually I'm not the type of person who cares a lot about getting in trouble, but my dad will be beyond pissed! I put all my worries behind me as I see the entrance reveal itself.

"Okay Ana, I will go in and tell you when the coast is clear okay?"

"Okay." She steps in and the doors close behind her.

A few moments later I am being pulled into the common room. I hear faint whimpers and I look around the room, I see a little lump in the back corner. Kyle. I walk over to him and sit down beside him, putting my arm over his shoulder. He jumps a little at first, but then snuggles into me after realizing it's me. I rub his back to try to comfort him as he cries on my shoulder.

"Shh, it's okay. What happened?"

"A-after i r-ran off, J-J-Johnnie came and f-found m-me in the b-bathroom and tried a-a-and t-telling me i-i-it was all a m-misunderstanding. I-I y-yelled at him and then b-broke up w-with him." He said in between sobs.

"I see. You don't need him Kyle, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Besides he is just an asshole who doesn't know a good thing when he has it." After about an hour of me just sitting on the floor comforting him, Violet comes back in the room and informs me that it's almost curfew. I'm about to walk out when Kyle runs over to me and hugs me.

"Whats that for?"

"For helping me calm down. Hey, wait a minute. How did you get in hear?"

"Violet helped sneak me in. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye Kyle."

"Bye Ana."

As I'm walking back to Slytherin I hear muffled whispers coming from the next hall. I sneak over to hear what their saying.

"They can't do that to her, she's my daughter and I would do anything to protect her!" I hear the first voice, Snape say. So he's talking about me. What can't they do to me? Who's they?

"They can and they will! So long as she's here they will find her and get her." The second voice is Dumbledore. What are they talking about?

"There must be something we can do!"

"There's only one option. She has to leave this world."

"Killing her will defeat the purpose of trying to save her!"

"No,no,no I'm not talking about killing her, I'm talking about sending her to the muggle future."

"No! She has to stay here! I have sworn to protect her and who else will look after Potter if she's not here to do it!"

"Well we have no other choice Severus!"

"She will be leaving in a couple of days." No I can't leave, I'm strong enough that i can face whoever s coming for me.

"No! She's my daughter, so I get to choose! She stays and that's final!" Thank you dad. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" Snape demanded. Oh shit I guess they heard me sigh.

"I said show yourself!" I slowly and carefully walk out.

" Oh Anastasia, it's just you." said Dumbledore.

"How much of that did you hear?" Snape asked.

"Enough." I replied simply and walked to Slytherin.

Neither of them tried to chase after me (thank God). I was laying down on my bed trying to fall asleep. I think I have the best spot out of the girls dorms because it's in the back corner of the room near the window and more spread apart from the rest of them. Most girls like to be closer together so they can gossip and talk about the other houses (especially Gryfindor). I don't really talked to anyone else other than my small group of friends, none of which are in Slytherin. There's a reason everyone hates Slytherin and that's because 99.9% of them are assholes and the 0.1% who aren't (me) don't really talk to many people.

I wonder what Snape and Dumbledore were talking about. Who, or what, do I need to be protected from? Why doesn't Snape want me to leave? Why do I need to leave?
