Chapter 14

A.N. Okay this is a pretty important chapter and a couple new characters are introduced to the story. Now please don't hold me to this but I am going to start trying to update every Monday or Tuesday and if it can't happen for some reason I will post an authors note so I won't just leave you hanging for months at a time like I have done in the past.

Anastasia's POV

"I have called you all here for both your assistance and your protection. It is really important that you speak of this to no one, I hope I can trust you. This is called The Raven and you are all members whether you want to be or not. You all have one thing in common and that is that you are all different from the rest of the wizarding world. You are all different creatures that are dangerous and hunted. You may or may not be aware of this though. The Raven will teach, train and protect you. I know there have been rumors about he who shall not be named coming back and it is all true and when he does return he will be looking for you and you will have two choices; either become a death eater or die. Personally I think becoming a death eater is the better option however ultimately it is your decision. Firstly I would like to introduce the other leaders and helpers Bellatrix Lestrange" Snape says gesturing to the woman who I now know is called Bellatrix. "And Lucious Malfoy. Now can the rest of you say your name and if you know state what you are and what it means. Anastasia you may go first."

"I'm Anastasia Snape and I'm a Damnatis Unum and it means damned one."

"I'm Draco Malfoy and I am an Excetra Sit which is snake being."

"I'm Luna Lovegood and I am a Cruentamque Luna Creatus and that is bleeding moon daughter if I'm not mistaken."

"That is correct."Bellatrix says.

"I am Kyle Locher and I'm not sure what I am"

"I'm Ed Lee and i have no clue what I am."

"I am Sabrina Braye and I don't know."

"My name is Lilith Lestrange and I am a Tacitus Sicarius which is silent killer."

"Okay so I'm glad most of you know what you are. Kyle, Ed and Sabrina Mr. Malfoy will inform you of what you are." says Snape glancing at Lucious. He nods and starts to speak. " Okay so Kyle you are a Fallitur Filius meaning mistaken son. Ed you are a Luctus Lator meaning grief bearer and Sabrina you are a Praeteritus Victima meaning forgotten victim. The rest of your kind died off long ago except for Damnatis Unum and Excetra Sit there are still many out there in the muggle world that just don't know about the creature they are nor have they showed any signs of being one."

"How do you know that only the two kinds are left are than us if most of them don't even know what they are themselves."

"There are spells you can cast to find the others. Death eaters do a worldly check every year, that is how they found us." Lilith says matterofactly then quietly adding "...right?" looking at Bellatrix (who I can only assume is her mother)

"Yes, very true. Damnatis Unum and Excetra Sit were the only ones we have found in the last 50 years or so. Other than you guys of course."

"Does Dumbledore know about this? " asks Luna.

"Of course not!" Lucious exclaims. "And he won't find out! Right?!" he pulls his wand out and points it at Luna she quickly stutters out a right. Then he turns to the rest of us, wand still out. We all nod terrified to disagree.

"Good because if this gets out I will not hesitate to kill you ."

"Isn't that a bit extreme father?"

"No, Draco. It's not. You see there is a lot at stake and it could get us thrown in Askaban... if he who shall not be named doesn't get us first."

"If he is against us why does he make his followers look for us?" asks Kyle.

"We look so you can help bring him back to life and you'd have to die. Don't ask why because we are just following orders. Well the others are just following orders, we on the other hand have different intentions that involve you being alive and safe. I cannot share these intentions to you at this point in time but you will find out shortly." Snape informs us. "That concludes this meeting. We will have one the same time, different location in two days. Everyone meet in front of my classroom. Now any last question that you simply cannot wait until tomorrow to have answered?" No one spoke up so he nodded and we all started walking out.

Snape grabbed my arm and told me to stay back. He tells me to sit and wait for everyone to leave. When they are all gone he sits across from me. "So how are Nancy, Alex and Frank?" he asks.

I look down not wanting to be the bearer of bad news. "They are all dead. I am so sorry, I know you guys were friends."

"What happened?"

"Well Alex died a while back, I don't know how though and after that Frank became an abusive asshole and beat Nancy and killed all the foster kids before me. I came back to find Nancy dead and I kinda....maybe......ummm....killed him." I mumbled the last part and hoped he didn't hear me, but of course he did.

"Oh. Well he deserved it. Where are you staying? Prison?"

"No, please dad I know better than to get caught. It was a perfect cover up anyways I got sent to this new foster home and my foster mother Pam is really nice. My foster brother is fucking awesome as well."

"That's good to hear."

"Yup. I have to get back before Pam notices."

"Make sure you are at the meeting in two days and we weren't kidding breath a word of this to anyone and I will have to kill you."

"I won't tell and I will be at the meeting." I say before disaperating back to my room. I crawl into bed and sit in the dark thinking over all that has happened.
