"I don't understand why I can't go out with them."

( Y/N ) huffed and she continued folding clothes and tossing it with the others. She was doing it with a little attitude, as if that did anything, but it made her feel a little better.

"I told you, it's too dangerous for you to go out with them," Dadan implied, flipping to the next page of the newspaper, "You may have that deadly ability of yours, but you could still get hurt."

"Then let me practice! I wanna learn how to fight and defend myself, too, Dan!" It's not fair that they get to leave whenever they'd like while ( Y/N ) was stuck at the house doing chores day in and day out. What? Just because she was a girl and they were boys? Cause they did more dangerous things? She could do it, too, if she gave her a chance.

Dadan ignored her previous statement and glanced at her watch before looking around, "It's getting late. Dogra, Magra, go look for Luffy. Lord knows what kind of trouble he's got himself into."

The two saluted, but before they could step one foot out the building, ( Y/N ) stepped up for the task. "I'll go!" Without waiting for Dadan's denial, she was already zooming out the door.

"Wha-" The sudden action startled the woman, "No! ( Y/N )! Get back here!"

"Don't worry Dadan! I'll be back before nightfall!"

Ace and Luffy would normally be in the woods, playing somewhere.

Well, Ace would always be the one being chased by Luffy, often resulting in him getting himself into trouble. But ( Y/N ) likes to think of it as his way of playing somewhat harmless jokes.

"Ace! Luffy!" ( Y/N ) called for the two and waited for a response. "Where are those two."

"( Y/N ), up here!" Looking up, she searched the trees until her eyes landed on the two,

"Ace! Sabo!" It's been a while since she's seen the blond, but that thought was pushed to the back when she noticed they were alone, "Where's Lu?"

Beckoning for her to lower her voice, ( Y/N ) chose to find her own way up the tree. Once she reached them, her eyes fixated on the plethora of gold and cash sitting in different piles on the branch.

"What's all this?"

Ace explained, "It's the money Sabo and I have been saving up to become pirates when we're older," Sabo flicked his arms and gave him a look. Ace ignored it and continued, "We're hiding it before those pirates come back. Give us a hand, will you?"

"What? What pirates? And where is Luffy?" She looked between the two and grew frustrated when she was ignored, "What aren't you two telling me?"

"Luffy was taken by pirates." Sabo piped up as he continued bagging money from the trunk into a separate bag, "The guy was looking for the money we took from him and took Luffy as collateral. We're just moving the money before they come back and find it."
