time travel ~mighty ducks part one

Kalani lived in a well put family house in Pearl City, Hawaii, she also had always been a huge fan of the trilogy "The Mighty ducks" she had posters and jerseys, basically anything you could think of. She wasn't a obsessed fan, just someone who's comfort movie really made her feel safe. She also loved playing hockey she was one of the best people on her team and the creator of "The Cherry Bomb." She had always loved to read books and her favorite was definitely The Outsiders I mean who couldn't resist watching the movie it has matt dillon in it come now.
One day she had gone over to her uncles house to visit for a few nights.

I had gone over to my uncles house for a couple of nights because he has always been my favorite uncle. He loves the mighty ducks and tells me a lot about time travel which i find very fascinating. He's always talking about how he wants to build a time machine so he can talk to his grandfather he had never met.
I packed my things and got into this before heading out

When I arrived to my uncles house I waved goodbye to my mother who had dropped me off in her small mini coop. I knocked on the door a couple of times and waited a couple of seconds when I see my frantic uncle open the door.

"Oh hey Kalani" he says sounding a bit panicked but hugged me. "uhh hey uncle rodrick how are you." i say trying to sound as chićhe possible. "come in come in" I walked into his fresh lemon scented house. he loved plants and grew them all over his well planted garden and had plants all throughout his living room. "so do you want to watch the mighty ducks tonight" he said excitedly. "uhh duh of course i do, who do you think i am a maniac." i said chuckling.

"I don't know maybe." he said in a joking matter. I had smelt a kind of burning smell. "hey what is that smell?" i said confused as every. "oh shit i burnt the pizza." he said slapping his head in disappointment. "oh it's okay we can order something online, what cha want?" i said not worrying too much. " hmmm sushi?" "omg yessss." I said enthusiastically. I ordered some sushi, sashimi and some katsu chicken just in case. When the food got there we set up everything in the living room and covered the couch with blankets and pillows and what nots. we had put on the mighty ducks and started to eat.

I had finished my food a while later and put my take out box in the trash feeling a bit tired. i yawed as one does when they're tired and went to go say good night to my uncle. not to my surprise when i see him passed out on the couch. So I put a blanket over him and kissed him on the forehead. i went to the bathroom and got out my toothbrush and brushed my teeth, i did my other nightly routine stuff and changed into this

I laid down in the soft satin sheets on the memory foam mattress and went to sleep feeling more tired than ever.

all of a sudden i had woken up to my uncle shacking me. "what what what is it? what time is it?" i said super confused. " it's around 4:45 am but i want you to come here for a second, get your stuff and add a couple of essentials. he said seeming ecstatic. I look for my bag and i put a couple hundred dollars in there cause i don't know what will happen to me and just keep everything that's in the bag. I follow him into the living room where i see a chair in the middle of the floor, with all kind of wires coming out of it.

"uhh uncle rodrick what's this..?" i said kind of concerned. "ummm i don't really know how how explain this without it sounding crazy but i made time machine and i wanted you to try it out..." he said sounding nervous. "ARE YOU CRAZY I AM NOT GOING IN THAT THING TO TEST OUT A THEROY I AM ONLY 11 AND TOO YOUNG TO DIE" (she is in the 6th grade like the other kids)

"PLEASE KALANI YOU KNOW I WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HURT YOU!!!" he said. "okay fine i'll do it i don't even know why i'm doing this." i said regretting it already. "yes thank you kalani sooo where do you want to time travel too." "ummm 1984 in the karate kid world wax on wax off." "oh

sweetheart time travel doesn't work like that, but i can time travel you back to 84." he said. "yes yes yes okay let's go." he set the little thing that looked like a lock thingy to september 21st 1984 5:45pm. "okay so just put the date, time and address on this thing and then press this button if you want to come back and go to alright!" he said sounding very excited. like a kid being able to get a cookie from the grocery store. "okay if this doesn't work i will haunt you." i said giving him a glare. "ok ok i'll let you." he said laughing. i took a deep breath and pressed the button, i felt some pressure in my brain. i squeezed my eyes shut just in case it hurt. but it didn't just pressure. i opened my eyes to see myself in a meadow. very confused i put the time date and address of my time era and stuff on the lock thingy. I can't believe it actually worked. cool.

I pushed the button and i felt the same pressure so i closed my eyes and when i opened them again i saw my uncle rodrick standing next to me in awe. "OMG IT WORKED IT WORKED." he said dancing around in the room.  I can't believe it actually worked...
