“Doctor, how’s the patient doing.” A lady clad in a red tight fitting gown with red stilettos enquired. “I can’t say anything for now until he wakes up.” The doctor replied sighing. The lady turned and glared at him, from the looks of it he was terrified of her. “Then do your job well and wake him up, you know what I’m capable of doing. She sneered. Of course he did, his family held captive was enough proof. “Of course ma, I’m working on it.” He gulped.
There was sudden movement from the patient, the lady rushed to his side immediately. “Please wake up, I beg you. You saved my life I need to repay you back.” She sobbed. He was covered in bandages from head to toe, it was a miracle that the body was found. “What are you doing standing there, get the nurses.” She shouted at the doctor. He seemed to recover from shock and rushed out of the room.
Few minutes later he arrived with two nurses with their heads bent down, no one dared to look at her in the face. “Please ma you have to excuse us so we can check the patient.” He stuttered looking everywhere but her. “I’m not going anywhere, do what you have to do now.” She ordered. He ran frantically to check the patient who was finding it a little bit difficult to breathe. When he was done the patient opened his eyes and took a sharp breath.
“Where am I.” He croaked sitting up carefully with the help of one of the nurses. “Get me water please.” The lady said to the doctor. When he finally took a sip he looked at them confused. “Who are you people and where am I.” he enquired. The lady looked at the doctor pointedly. “You can’t remember me.” She asked softly. He shook his head; she took a sharp breath with tears welling up her eyes.
“Let me ask few questions.” The doctor piped drawing a chair closer to him. “Can you remember what happened earlier.” The patient held his head in pain, probably trying to remember but nothing came up. “Okay then, what’s your name.” He asked again. “I can’t remember, please tell me.” He begged, the lady stepped forward and said….
