The first time that the Justice League managed to enter Gotham, was when Bruce Wayne hosted a party, and they were invited as security guards.
To say that they were amazed by the dark and shady city would be an understatement, they didn't have words to describe the hidden beauty behind the cold and unforgiving darkness that seemed to seep from everywhere.
After a bit of walking they came in front of a beautiful, big, manor, the Wayne manor. They entered and went to join the party.
As the night went on, and the party was nearing to an end, the "favourite" clown of the inhabitants of Gotham came with his goons.
People were afraid, of course they were, but they knew that the bats will come soon. The Justice League emerged from the shadows, and the clown started laughing. People were starting to get more and more afraid, and in the panic of the room, nobody noticed the Wayne's leaving the party.
Soon after the Justice League entrance, the bats came.
Batman and Joker were fighting, Nightwing and Red Hood were fighting Joker's goons, and Red Robin and Robin were taking out all the guests, putting them to safety.
The fight didn't last long, a couple of minutes and it was over. The Justice League didn't do anything but observe the dynamics of the Bat-family.
Commissioner Gordon came, took the goons away, while Batman personally took Joker away.
When the league returned to the watchtower they didn't know how to react, but nobody could deny that that night their respect for the Bat and his family went over the roof.
