Death of the Bat-siblings

A war was coming towards our heroes, Justice League, Young Justice, Outlaws and Teen Titans, all together against the greatest evil.
Commanding this groups of heroes and vigilantes were the Bats.
As the fight against the enemy progressed, heroes started to fall, and the world that was assisting was becoming more and more desperate.
The enemy was something new, old enemies put together to end and rule over all. Joker, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, aliens, the Light...all were there to end the heroes.
As soon as even Superman was down, the world was on his knees, begging for a miracle to happen.
And a miracle indeed happened, the bats stood together, all protecting eachother, and started to fight off the enemy.
Batman was separated from his sons, the girls stood away from their brothers without anyone noticing, after all, all of them were too preoccupied with the enemy to even notice this.
An explosion, a gun shot, an agonizing scream and a really loud CRUNCH resonated on the battlefield.
After, there was only silence.
The heroes stood together, the Bat met with his unofficially adopted daughters, but something...something was missing, or more like, someone was missing.
Heroes started searching, and after hours they found it.
There on the ground, bleeding and not breathing were the bat brothers.
Batman fell to his knees, begging whatever entity was up there to give him his sons back.
Eventually he stood up, and took all his sons home, where after a week, a funeral was made, to remember this great heroes.
The funeral was that of Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin and Robin.
After the events of the war, Batman was never the same, and neither was Bruce Wayne, two personality's, one body, a family that was destroyed in just some seconds, without anybody noticing until it was too late.
