Kaiden x A!Reader

💤Sleepy Call💤

                                                                  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I giggle and grab my phone, running over to a compartment I have in my computer desk. "What is it you're trying to show me? Your magazine cabinet?" She said with a dorky grin. "Ew nooo, I'm showing you my secret snacks!!" I open the compartment, showing a mini fridge and containers of snacks. I could tell Kaiden was speechless, since all I heard was a small gasp before a long period of silence. 

"...I'm on my way. This isn't fair I want it-"

I cant help but laugh and close the compartment, getting a whine from the other side of the phone. "That upset it's going away?" I smile, only to see him nod and pout. "Mine looks so lame compared to that! Mine is literally a drawer in my dresser! Can we pleaseee switchhh? I want yours it's so cool!!" I cant help but smile more. "Oh? A drawer? Well now you have to show me!" He sighs and grabs his phone, walking up to his dresser and opening a drawer. A few snacks were in there, but it was pretty barren.

"That's so sad- it's like a snack desert-" Kaiden let's out a fake sob, covering their face. "How could you insult my legacy like thissss" she cries out. I laugh and apologize for insulting such a masterpiece. Kaiden and I lie back on our beds and continue to compare secret snack areas. We start to clearly get more and more tired, relaxing fully.

"Hmm, every wonder about something that no one can seem to answer?"

"Well sure, like what happens to us when we die? There are like hundreds of different ideas and theories, but no one knows for sure. What do you think Kaiden?"

"Oh I dunno, I like the idea of being reborn, or starting a new life once we die. I dont like the idea that it's just dark. It seems like such an unsatisfying way for it to end yknow? I want it to be that we've all done this hundreds of times, that it's the same people walking the earth. Who knows? Maybe I'm secretly like Abraham Lincoln or something? That'd be cool!"

"Its so nice to finally meet you Mr. Lincoln, how was assassination?"

"Oh truly wonderful, thank you for asking"

We both laugh gently, and continue to talk about different things. Eventually though, Kaiden seems to drift off, me following closely after. 

~Time Skip Till Morning~

I wake up, rubbing my eyes and then glance over at my phone. 

"Oh- he hung up-"

I notice a notification on my phome. It was a text from Kaiden.

💫•^°Kaiden°^•🐱: Hey! Sorry I had to leave earlier this morning, I had something I had to do, but perhaps we could call again! And I got pictures of you passed out- told you I would! Sleep well hun!

I smile and turn off my phone, I'll get a few more minutes of sleep and then respond. I really did enjoy last night.

Help- the sun came up- I'm gonna sleep some before writing and posting the last chapter for today- but it'll be out soon I swear! Well all four new chapters will be- since I'm posting them at the same time- hope you enjoyed! Love you!
