Okay, so this will start at the very start of season 4. The first bit will probably be a bit boring because it's the same as the series until my OC shows up. Also, the only thing I own here is my OC, the rest goes to all the people who helped create Ninjago. I hope you all enjoy the book! Oh, and this will be boyxboy so if you don't like that stuff, PISS OFF, we don't want your negativity here.

Jay's POV:

I'm walking down the docks next to Cole, my nemesis. How dare he try and steal Nya from me, and all this time I thought he was my friend. We see Kai already standing amongst, what must be, other elemental masters. Once we reach him Cole and I drop our bags on the floor and pull our hoods off.

"Argh, I told you we shouldn't have worn them," Kai exclaimed, referring to our suits that we all decided to wear. Looking around we seem to be the only ones wearing full-on fighting clothes. Ah well.

"The Tournament of Elements," Kai continues as Lloyd shows up. "You think they all have powers like us?"

"When I asked my dad about it, he got really suspicious," Lloyd said.

I kinda zoned out of their conversation as I looked around at all the other people waiting with us. Suddenly someone just appeared in front of me. I jumped and let out a squeal of surprise. Well, that caught everyone's attention.

My cheeks went bright red with embarrassment; all I could think about was how much I wanted the ground to give way right now. Dropping everyone into the water seemed a lot better than standing amongst a heap of elemental masters staring at me.

Suddenly, a boat appeared out of nowhere in front of us, what is it with everything popping out of nowhere today? Two people that had similar purple tattoos as the people at Chen's Noodles placed a plank of wood down to connect the boat and the pier.

A weird-looking dude with a long ponytail walked across the plank onto the pier. Once across, he motioned for everyone to start walking onto the boat.

"We don't know yet if this is a trap. Wherever they take us, we must stick together," Lloyd said in a hushed tone as we approached the end of the pier.

"Watch your step," Ponytail guy says to a girl in an orange hood and a dude smoking a cigarette as they were the first to reach the plank. The girl looks back towards us and locks eyes with Kai. Oh no, this is just asking for disaster.

"We can't let anything distract us," Lloyd says, mostly to Kai who let out one of those lovey-dovey sighs. "You hear me, Kai?"

"Huh? Uh, yeah," Kai stuttered, still looking at the girl. "Uh, got it. Whatever you said."

"Master Chen will be charmed to see you've accepted his offer," Ponytail says as we finally reach the plank. "A Master of Spinjitzu shall fare favourably in his tournament."

"Hey, we're not here to fight. We are here to save a friend," I exclaim.

"Hmm. Don't be so petty, Master Jay." Ponytail guy takes my nunchucks from my bag. "Everyone here has something to fight for," he throws them into the water.

"Haha. Chopsticks. I'm a big eater. Heh," I gulp, trying to play it off smoothly. I know we weren't supposed to bring weapons, but hey, you can't blame a guy for wanting to feel safe. We are going to an underground fighting tournament; I should be allowed to bring my own weapons.
