I stepped out of the car, waving goodbye to my dad. The grass felt usually mushy under my shoes, but this was bone dry. However after what had happened yesterday, I wouldn't be too surprised anyway.
Free period, again. I left to go back infront of that one gym, my school's name stood painted on the mat, that clung to the wall. Unstable breathing took over me, It felt as if the floor was breaking, and making way for me to fall into the empty void. Someone grabbed my wrist. My heart was still pounding, until I looked up. That must be Marcus. Sighing, I stood up, he was slightly taller than me, with a really unusual cold stare. A slight smile broke the tension. "Hey, I'm Marcus." He started. Man I hate this guy already, trying not to make an obvious frown I nodded, "Cool. I'm Julia, do you need something?" Marcus glanced at me nervously. "I saw you needed help. So I came over to help you." He muttered. That's not the reason he came to me, I know it. He has something else in mind. "No, really, what do you need." I urged, checking the clock.
"I need you to play a game with me."
I should've just walked away and went on with life but once again, not a choice of mine. I followed this Marcus guy down a strange rusty hall into this 'game' he said was very fun. Worms might learn to fly before he changes his mind and lets me leave because this guy really wants me to play his stupid game. Give me a break goddammit. We reached some metal doors, and he struggled to push them open, glancing at me hopefully. I turned away. I'm not helping that bitch. No way, never. I walked through and he followed close behind. We found Tomas, fiddling with his thumbs. He lifted his head as we walked into the room "You're here, finally!" He exclaimed, standing up. Let's get this over with. Marcus went picking through the shelves. "Is this a board game?" I peeped, looking around the dark space. No one answered. Marcus emerged from the shelves, holding a bright blue string. He edged near me, grabbing my wrist and tying the string around it. No instructions? He had then tied it around Tomas's wrist then his own.
The string on it's own burnt a lot, I could see on it's own, the string burning my skin, painfully. The heat caused smoke to rise, and my vision went dizzy. I felt myself helplessly fall to the floor. Have I escaped..?

Is this a dream? - COMPLETED
AdventureThis is based off of a dream that I've had a while ago, it wouldn't leave my mind so I had to write it down. Remember that this is your persepective, I wrote "I" instead of "You" or a character because this was my dream and how I saw it. Don't blame...
