Am I going to kill all of my classmates? I felt my feet touch the ground, expecting the screen to appear infront of me.  It didn't. The string connected from my wrist to a boy laying on the ground, knocked out cold. "Hello?" I asked a bit too loudly, edging towards the unmoving body. It twitched and turned to look at me. "Hi." Matthew, I recognized him instantly. Awkwardness flooded through me , sending shivers down my back. I looked away then glanced back nervously. I cautiously reached my hand out to help him, but he sat up without my help. "Thanks. I'll manage." He said, before raising up to his feet. I felt fear shiver all around my body. This isn't Matthew, I know it. But there were other things to worry about. "Come on. We have to move on."

I cautiously moved down what looked like a orange and black version of candyland, the board game. We were both aware of not stepping on the black, after what had happened to Carlos, I was pretty much terrified of black. We hopped our way over every black tile, and tried searching for the end. It's been a while, before we found it. A fully black, hollow void stretching out into the nowhere unwelcomely greeted us. Without warning, Matthew did a fine leap onto the surface, stepping on it like a glass floor. My skin prickled in fear, I stepped on, floating nicely right on top, feeling like a leaf on water I glanced nervously at Matthew

Fear struck me like a bullet.

Matthew's smile looked threatening. He edged towards me in a very jerky way. The screen re-appeared, turns out Matthew wasn't him at all, he was the monster. The floor made way under me. I ran  on and on, trying to escape this hell.  It felt like forever as I ran, the string was no longer connected to 'Matthew' it lead me somewhere else. I felt desperate to find him so I followed the glowing blue light. He's alive. I followed my wrist to a small china town, where I found Matthew staring at me in fear. My string disappeared all of a sudden not a trace of it remained, I was completely alone and Matthew sat without hope against the wall while life escaped his body. The threatening smile returned on his face. Before I could run he grabbed my shirt and pulled me forward. A shiver passed through my body, causing me to wince. I thought he was going to kill me, but to my surprise, he gently rested his arm on my shoulder. "Bye, I'll see you again soon." He breathed before I felt my hands shivering I couldn't look down, my body was frozen. I wanted to cry but I couldn't.

I couldn't even breathe.

Suddenly, I felt his warm breath on my cheek. I felt my mouth open slightly.. but I was far too weak to do anything else. "You're safe now, and I promise you can trust me." He said. "You're dead, but if you were to survive, I promise you, you wouldn't like it." His touch remained softly on my skin before I realised how dizzy I was. My lungs tightened horribly before I had to let go. lastly I fell to the floor, the last of my vision was his face, no.. Not his face. A monster, who stared into my soul as the overwhelming blackness took over.
