Chapter two: Protection Spells

A protection spell is a spell that will protect you from negative energies, bad karma, bad luck, spells turning against you and overall having a bad time in life. A protection spell is very useful and necessary for any Witch. A protection spell is a must-have as a Witch.

As I said in the earlier chapter, spells can be anything you want them to be. You can make a protection spell with the use of herbs, sigils, poems, manifestation, candles, jars, paper and anything that comes to your mind. I advice not experimenting too much with your first spell, since you aren't yet fully prepared and protected, but as long as you believe in your protection and manifest it throughout the process of making a protection spell, you should be safe.

Here are some protection spell methods:

Herbs - In a jar or on a candle, after cleansing it* place the following ingredients :
• Salt, for cleansing the object
• Rosemary, for protection
• Raw Rice, for protection
• Parsley, for cleansing
• Cinnamon, for good luck
• Quartz, for amplifying the spell

If you do not have some ingredients, you can replace them or not use them.

Sigils - Sigils are magickal symbols that mean certain things, usually used to manifest. See next chapter to learn about sigils.

Poems - You can write a spell in the form of a poem or a song. Poems are highly used and they work well. In order to make a magickal poem, you need to set your intention. Cleanse the paper and the pen you are using, or cleanse your phone if you are writing it digitally. Find your words and try to make them rhyme. Rhyme isn't necessary, but it might help your spell sound better to you. You don't need certain elements in your spell, you only need intention. Write down your spell. For protection spells i recommend writing them with black or white, but the color doesn't matter as much. Once you wrote the spell, I suggest cleansing it again, although it's not a must. Say your spell out loud or read it. After you finnish, you can burn the paper and throw the ashes in the wind or place them in mud or dirt. You can soak it in water too. If you don't want to do that, don't. The last steps are meant to connect the spell with the Earth, but you can keep the paper or just throw it away. As long as you believe, the spell will work.

Manifestation - You can manifest using a paper by writing down your intention. You can manifest with sigils. You can manifest with subliminals you find online or make yourself. You can manifest with nothing. Just your mind. As long as you believe and tell yourself something will happen, it will. For any of these methods, I recommend the affirmation " I am protected"

* How to cleanse an object:
You can cleanse anything with incense, candles, crystals, salt, wind, your breath, water, visualisation or your intentions.
