Chapter six: How to cleanse

Cleansing means "cleaning" something from negative energies. Usually, people cleanse their crystals, but you can cleanse anything. There are more methods of cleansing objects. Here are some:

1. Running water.
Put the objects under running water for about 1 minute. The running water can variate from pouring spring or river water, to running faucet water. The type of water doesn't matter, as long as there is intention in cleansing. If you plan on cleansing crystals with running water, make sure they are hard stones, with the hardness over 5 on the MOH scale

2. Salt water.
Place the object in a bowl of salt water for 48h. For crystals, they have to be hard stones, over 5 on MOH scale.

3. Brown rice.
Place the objects in the rice for 24h
Can be used for any stone.

4. Natural light.
Put the objects in a well illuminated place, where Sunlight or Moonlight can touch the objects. It should stay there for 10-12h. If you cleanse crystals, they have to be tumbled, so they won't lose coloring or even crack.

5. High pitch sound.
High pitch sound can be made with bells, glasses and usually glass things, or can be searched on YouTube. Use the method for 5-10min. In case of cleansing stones, they can be used for any crystal.

6. A large or smaller crystal.
Place the object near a smaller/bigger crystal and focus on the crystal directing it's energy towards the object. The large/small stone should be charged afterwards. It can be used for any crystals.

7. Your own breath.
Breathe towards the object and focus on the negative energies leaving the object. This method can be used for any stone, for about 30sec.

8. Visualization.
Look at the object. Visualize the bad energies leaving the object. Use for about 1min.

9. Incense/candle smoke.
Place the object above the burning incense/candle/paper etc. Visualize the smoke taking the bad energies away while rising. Use for about 1min, can be used for any stone.
