0.6 - You Run Into An Ex

Steve Rogers; Steve and you took a walk around NYC, taking advantage of the good weather and the not overly busy streets. When you passed by one of your old favourite cafes, you begged Steve to go in and he obliged, holding open the door for you. After ordering two coffees, you stand to wait for them while Steve gets a table outside. "{Y/N}?" You looked up to see your ex boyfriend, Josh, walking towards you. "Hey Josh." You greet, forcing out a smile. You start to rub your wrists and Josh notices. "I'm really sorry about-" he was cut off when a pair of arms wrapped around your waist. "I'd appreciate it if you would stop talking to my girlfriend, thanks." Steve said, glaring at Josh. You could see your ex gulp as your coffees were set on the counter. You thanked the barista and grabbed the coffee, exiting the cafe. Instead of sitting down, you two decided to continue on your walk.

Tony Stark; You were always attending meetings for Tony because he never felt like going to them, so this was just another regular day. Until you bumped into someone and knocked all the papers out of their hands. "Oh my gosh, I'm so- Wait, Greg?" You were surprised to see your ex boyfriend standing in front of you. He smiled at you and crouched down, starting to pick up his papers. You helped him and soon he had all the papers back into his hands. "Long time no see, {Y/N}." Greg stated, chuckling. You smiled and nodded, "How have things been?" You asked. You and Greg had ended the relationship mutually three years ago and without a fight so there was no tension between the two of you. "Well, I got engaged to a woman I met about a year after we dated. Her name's Mindy. What about you?" he asked. "Congratulations! And I started dating Tony Stark a few months ago." You replied, adjusting your purse strap on your shoulder. "So you're happy?" he asked and you nodded. "I'm glad." he added and you flashed him a bright smile. "I'm so sorry to cut this short but I have a meeting to attend. Maybe you and your fiance could join Tony and I on a double date sometime?" You asked, holding out your phone. He took it and entered his number before you both bid goodbye and hugged.

Thor; "{Y/N?}" You looked towards where your name was called and spotted one of your ex boyfriends, Ted, walking towards you with a blonde on his arm. You forced yourself not to roll you eyes and smiled instead. "Hey Ted." You greeted stiffly, resting your hands on your hips. "How have things been? I know I left you absolutely heart broken for this stunner right here." he stated cockily, looking towards the blonde girl and kissing her. You swore you were about to vomit before two hands rested atop of yours on your hips. "She recovered absolutely fine. Now run along before I start a duel in which you will lose." Thor boomed and Ted's eyes widened. You smirked and waved, watching as your ex and the blonde rushed away. You turned towards Thor and smiled up at him. "Thank you." "Anything for you, princess."

Peter Parker; Running into your abusive ex boyfriend was the last thing you wanted you happen. You were an emotional wreck and your bad decision was deciding to go on a walk. You bumped into people and muttered apologies but you let out a frightened squeak when someone grabbed onto your arm. "Hey, doll face. Remember me?" Your ex, Owen, asked, smirking at you. You yanked your arm out of his grip and started to walk away. But he followed. "Owen, leave me alone." You called out, your voice cracking. You cringed at the sound and Owen used your weakness as an advantage to grab you again and shove you up against a brick building. You cried out and pushed against him but he was too strong. "Hey, I think the lady said to back off." A familiar voice rang out and you almost sighed in relief. Owen turned and looked at Spider-Man, who was perched on top of the building above. "I ain't afraid of you." Owen stated roughly, but his eyes portrayed fear. And once Spidey jumped down, Owen ran off. Peter then picked you up and used his webs to swing back to his house. He placed you down and climbed up into his bedroom window. You walked up to the front door and waited a minute before knocking. Peter swung open the door and embraced you in a hug, placing kisses all over your face.
