Chapter 4

"I could have had him release us the moment I beat him. But I wanted to say proper goodbye to all of you. So nice of you to come to me. Now I can finish this once and for all." I said smiling brightly.

I stepped back from them and clapped my hands.

"Kabuto! I order you to release the re-animation jutsu on everyone!" I said.

My body started glowing...

I'm feeling kind of dizzy...

I tried to walk towards them but I swayed... I caught myself from falling.

I have 8 more minutes left in this world. I will disappear only after others are set free from this jutsu...

I have... more than enough time to say goodbye...

I slowly started to walk towards them...

"There is... still time. I can feel myself slowly losing consciousness now. I must tell you some things... that I couldn't say back then... before I say goodbye and depart for good."

I inched closer, still swaying right and left.

"I must...thank you... for everything... that you've done for me... personally... before I go..."

They looked wide eyed, some already crying, some holding back their tears, even Itachi who's always cool, is sniffling.

"Teme, Sakura-chan". I slowly walked towards Sasuke and Sakura, who were like siblings to me when I was still alive.

"You two were...one of the most important people in my life. Someone I wouldn't trade even for the world. I always enjoyed being with you. Sasuke, you helped me to get strong. I'm grateful for your support and always believing in me. Sakura-chan, you were always reliable, always helping and supporting me. Thanks for everytime you healed me."

Uh-oh... They are both crying now. I hugged them.

"Thanks for being there for me when others ignored me because of my jinjuriki status. And also"

I couldn't help but smile mischievously.

"You two would make a great couple." I chuckled leaving the blushing duo and walked towards Pervy-sage and Tsunade baa-chan.

"Pervy-sage, Tsunade baa-chan." I called. Those two looked down at me.

"You two were like grandparents to me. Thanks a lot for cheering me up when I was down. And pervy-sage, it's all thanks to you that I'm stronger now. Thanks for training me so that I could protect myself and the village. Thank you, baa-chan, for always looking out for me. If it weren't for you, I would have died even before Pein attacked."

"Don't say things like that, gaki." She said wiping her tears.

I chuckled. "Sorry, sorry." I stood on my toes and placed kiss on both of their foreheads, just like baa-chan used to kiss me.

I moved to Kakashi sensei and Itachi-san.

"Kakashi sensei, Itachi-san." I said as I got on my knees and bowed down. Those two immediately knelt down holding my shoulder.

I sat up straight.

"I'm proud to be known as the student of Kakashi, the copy cat ninja and Itachi of the sharingan. It was all thanks to you I learned about the importance of teamwork, which helped me many times in the missions."

I stopped when I felt my head buzzing and a wave of dizziness hit me.

"It's almost time for me to go. Before that, can I ask you for a favor?"
