[Zoro x Reader] It's Always Been You

Chapter 17: (Y/N) has a big decision to make

You were waiting for Zoro to come back to the Sunny. Off in the distance you could see a group of people walking towards the ship. Everyone else in the crew noticed this too, and as the group got closer you realized it was Zoro, the man who kissed you this morning, and a group of people behind them.

"Oiiiii-Traffy!! Hey Traffy, long time no see!!" Luffy yelled to them waving

"Hey who's Traffy and how do you know him?" you asked Luffy

"Oh he's the guy walking next to Zoro, the one with all the tattoos! We met him on Sabaody a few years back" Luffy said

Zoro and the other guys finally arrived on the ship.

"(Y/N)! We've missed you so much!" a talking polar bear said

"Do you remember us (Y/N)?" a man with a hat that said penguin on it asked

"(Y/N)! We've all been so depressed since you've been gone, especially the captain." said a man with orangish hair flowing out of a hat.

"GUYS. Stop. She doesn't remember anything. She's suffering from memory loss" the tattooed man yelled

It was weird, you couldn't remember them but something deep down told you that you knew them. They all introduced themselves. Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi were the ones who all were asking you questions earlier, and Law was the one that kissed you.

Zoro came over and wrapped his arms around you from behind, and all the other men's eyes flew wide open staring. You could see Bepo whisper something in Law's ear as Zoro did that.

"So-uh how do you guys know me? I lost my memory a few months ago, so if it was from before then then I don't have any recollection of you guys." you said.

Bepo spoke up first, "(Y/N), you were a part of our crew for over 2 years. You got captured by the marines and we were told you were executed, until we saw your bounty poster surface."

"Yeah (Y/N). We were all so sad. We cried almost everyday until we saw your bounty poster, then we finally had hope again!" said Penguin.

Shachi turned to Law and said quietly, "Aren't ya gonna tell her what you guys were?"

Everything they were saying was a shock to you. If they were telling the truth that means you'd spent more time with them than you have with the Straw Hats! You were curious what Shachi meant though so you turned to Law and said, "What does he mean, Law?"

"Oh (Y/N)-ya. I'll tell you later. I have a proposition for you, and that is why I'm here. I'm a prestige surgeon, and I can perform a surgery on your brain so you can have your memories back. You want that don't you?" Law asked

Zoro squeezed your waist a little tighter and pulled you closer into his embrace. You really didn't have an answer for Law right now.

"I-I'm not sure...can I think about it for a while?" you asked

"Sure. I'll be waiting for your answer (Y/N)-ya. Whatever you want to do I'll always support you, even if you don't remember me" Law said

He then turned around and hopped off the Sunny without saying anything else. His crew all waved to you and followed shortly behind him.

You were in the middle of taking a long, thoughtful, steamy shower when all of a sudden Zoro walked in the bathroom, and joined you. He could see you were deep in thought and looked kind of sad. He took your head in his hands and lifted it so your foreheads were touching.

"(Y/N), I know this is a big decision and I'm going to help you through it" Zoro said giving you a quick kiss

"Thanks baby. I just don't know what to do. Yeah I wanna know my life from before and get my memories back, but I don't want that to change anything right now. I love you, and I love being a part of the Straw Hat crew. You guys are my nakama, forever." you said sadly

"I know. I'll always love you no matter what, and you'll always be our Nakama. Nothing will change that, getting your memories back or not...With that being said, I think you should do the surgery" Zoro said with a little remorse in his voice

"Wha-why do you think I should get it? Wouldn't that change the dynamic of what we have going on?" you asked

"It's possible...but I don't think it will change you and me. I know how much you love me, and you know how much I love you, nothing can change that. You should get the surgery and get your memories back so you can know who you are and where you came from. If you decide to get it do it for you though, no one else. It's your memories at the end of the day baby" Zoro said, placing a kiss on your forehead.

You hugged Zoro and said, "thank you, I think I've made a decision, but I wanna sleep on it tonight just to make sure. Okay?"

"Sounds good, baby. Let's get out and head to bed." Zoro said, turning the water off and holding a towel up to wrap you in.

Zoro had his arms around you in bed. He said his usual, 'goodnight (Y/N), I love you, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me' and fell fast asleep. You however, couldn't sleep. Too many things were running around in your mind.

'They said I was a part of their crew for over 2 years...I don't remember anything or any of them. The way Law looked at me, the way he kissed me earlier. I'm sure we had to have been together before I lost my memories. I'm sure of it now. But that doesn't change anything between me and Zoro. I will never leave his side, whether I get my memories back or not. The other crew sure did seem happy to see me though, and that they genuinely missed me. Makes me think of other memories and people I'm forgetting about too..." you thought to yourself.

After about another hour of overthinking in your head you finally fell asleep, having made a final decision to give to Law tomorrow.

A/N: (Y/N) has made a decision on whether or not she wants her memories back! If she chooses to get the surgery what will happen when all of her memories come back especially the ones with the heart pirates? What will happen with her and Zoro if she gets the surgery? Or will she choose to skip the surgery, and continue making new memories with the Straw Hats-her nakama...xxanna
