[Zoro x Reader] It's Always Been You

Chapter 11: Weapon of Choice

It's now been a total of 3 months since you've joined the Straw Hat Pirates; and a little over 2 months since you've been Roronoa Zoro's girlfriend. You still have no recollection of your memories since your fight with an admiral that  caused you to have permanent memory loss.

Every morning you've been training with Zoro working on getting stronger, and boosting your haki. It has improved quite well according to Zoro, even your observation haki has improved massively since he started training you. From where you started you are now about 7x stronger than before, pretty impressive. Your bounty has also gone up to 225 million beri compared to your first bounty of 150 million beri, quite a large jump for just a couple of months! The government still has a question mark where your name is supposed to go though, and they still don't even know that you are part of the Straw Hat crew. You think that they assume you are alone since you always fight alone.

"I think you're strong enough now to be able to try out different weapons, and see what suits you best. Yes you're good at hand to hand combat, but having a weapon of choice is very important (Y/N)." Zoro said

"Hm.. yeah you're right. I don't know what will suit me best though that will go with my skills. I'll just have to try a bunch of different things." you said

"Okay, let's head to the main deck then. I'll have Usopp bring some different kinds of weapons and a target to test on with them." Zoro said getting up and heading down the crows nest. You followed.

Usopp opened up a chest full of various weapons. Your eyes widened looking at all of the cool different kinds of weapons there. There were daggers, knives, guns, slingshots, bow & arrows, and swords. The first thing that caught your eyes were the daggers. You grabbed them, and got ready to throw them at the target.

You hit the bullseye with all 3 of them, and Zoro shot you a quick smile.

"Well you got good aim. Now I want you to take them, and go further then throw them as you're running into a duck and roll position" Zoro said

"Okay, sounds easy enough" you replied, grabbing the daggers out of the target.

You got ready and started running around the main deck. You threw a dagger as you perfectly went down into a roll, hiding behind the bench. Bullseye. You got up and started sprinting to the other side, repeating the same basic movement. Bullseye, once again.

"Okay before you throw the third one, I'm going to act like I'm going to attack you. Use your observation haki it should help you. I still expect you to hit the bullseye though." Zoro said, getting up and grabbing one of his katanas from his holster.

You nodded in agreement, and waited for Zoro to reach you. He started swinging his sword, but you dodged every swing thanks to your observation haki. You then ran, and Zoro followed still in front of you. You ran up the stairs to the part of the ship that overlooked the main deck. You were about to throw the dagger but Zoro quickly caught up and swung his sword. Thankfully you knew it was coming and you dodged then used his shoulder as a boost, and jumped off the railing in a spin-like move. Mid spin you threw the dagger at the target. You landed on both of your feet in a squat position then looked up to see if you hit the target. Bullseye.

"Damn you're good. Well we have one weapon figured out for you. I wouldn't be shocked if you were good at everything woman, you truly surprise me." Zoro said yelling out of breath from the railing you had just jumped off of.

You turned and smiled then said, "Seems like it. That was fun. Let's see what's next."

You grabbed one of the swords from the chest, and now almost all of the crew joined the main deck to watch you. Usopp explained to everyone how amazing you were with the daggers, and they were excited to see what you were going to do next.
