1Chapter Three

PIPER'S POV

We arrived at the choosing ceremony and sat down with the Abnegation knowing we would all be leaving. First, the leader of each faction came up and said something and then slowly they began to call up names. Soon all of our friends have transfered to Dauntless except for me.

Then,"Piper Mclean.", the announcer said.

I walked up and grabbed the knife. Then, I slowly cut myself and put my hand over the coals for dauntless and squeezed. I walked over to dauntless and sat down with all of my friends. As we walked out of the choosing ceremony we all suddenly got our memories back and we're all like now I know why we all choose dauntless.

We follow the older dauntless members to the spot right velocity the train tracks. Then, they suddenly start to climb. We all follow with ease.Once everyone is up we all started to run and jump onto the train. All of us make it on and once we are on I ask them, "Did any of you get you memories back? Because mine came back when we were running to the train tracks. "

"Yeah " said Hazel.

"Yup" said Leo.

"Mine came back" said Annabeth.

"Mine too" said Thalia.

"Came back really quick too " said Percy.

"Yeah" said Jason.

"Yeah " said Frank.

"Get ready." someone said.

I got up and looked out the doorway. I saw people jumping out of the door onto a roof.

"Get ready to jump. We have to jump off the train onto the roof to get into the Dauntless sector." I said.

"What!!!!" they replied!

"Yeah, look." I said.

We all backed up and as we got approached the roof we all jumped. Everyone made it except for Frank who we helped up and one kid who missed and died.

We all walked up to a ridge where a person dressed in black awaited us.

"Hello I am Alex ansd to start your training as a dauntless initiate you have to jump off of this ledge hoping something is at the bottom." ,he said, "Who is going first."

At first everyone was quiet but then Annabeth said " I'll go first."

Alex said, with a surprised look as an Abnegation volunteered,"Go ahead and be my guest."

Annabeth walked up climbed up onto the ledge and took of her jacket. She took a deep breath and jumped. Soon Percy, Jason, Thalia, Frank, Hazel, Leo, and I have all gone and the rest are going now.

ANNABETH'S POV right before she jumped

As I was standing on the ledge I took a deep breath and jumped. As I fell I remembered tartarus but then I hit a net. Two people named Four and Six helped me out of the net. Then Four asked, "What is your name you can hang it if you want."

"Annabeth, my name is Annabeth." I said.

"First jumper Annabeth." said Six.

I stood over towards the side and watched my friends and other initiates come down. The order was this Percy,Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Thalia, and Leo, then the rest of them come down.

As we were waiting an girl named Lauren came over and asked Four which group he wanted to take. He decided a to take transfers.

By now everyone has come down and and is waiting.

"Dauntless born come with me." Lauren said.

Now all that was left was us and two other kids, both from Erudite.

"All of you need to come with us for a tour of the faction, where you will be staying, and then to dinner." said Six.

They were walking around Dauntless showing us the pit, the chasm, and many other places. Soon we got to where we would be sleeping: one large room with bunk beds, in the middle, toilets to the left, and stalls to shower in on the right. We all were told to pick a bed so I got a top bunk below Percy.On my right was Piper on the top bunk of Jason, on my left was Thalia on the top of Leo's bunk, on the left of Thalia was Hazel on the top bunk of Frank, the Erudite kids went and choose somewhere in the corner to sleep. There was a change of clothes on all of the beds and they were very dauntless looking black outfits.

"Okay, everyone you have five minutes to change and then come meet us out side this door with your old factions  clothes." said Six.

We looked at each other and then just had our boyfriend stand in front of us, then we stood in front of Thalia. Then we left the room so the boys could change. Soon the Erudite's walked out and then the boys.
