AMY AND SPENCER were hanging out with each other outside of McDonald's for the first time in a while. As mentioned before, they've been awkward with each other. The things that once brought them joy as a duo had now lost its spark and neither one of them wanted to speak up about it. It saddened Amy to think about because her spark-less relationship with Spencer had become part of her everyday routine. And the one thing she wanted was something that would break the cycle.
She thought that this relationship would make it better, but nothing has happened. And now, Amy had only a few weeks left until she had to leave Boston and go to New York for the summer. She couldn't decide what she wanted to do with the relationship. Did she even want to break up with him? It'd be crazy to, right? Because she really likes him. And everyone knows that.
The two were sitting on Spencer's couch, but they were on their phones the whole time. It wasn't until Spencer spoke up about what he saw that the silence around them stopped. "Is this Matt?" Spencer asked, showing Amelia a post on his explore page.
