Two days have passed. You managed to look up info about Mommy's mother, Shelley. You know the woman's got to be in her late fifties or sixties by now. She's Mommy's mother and back when Mommy Long Legs was Molly Martin, she died from falling in a hot vat back in 1991 at the age of just twenty.
Turns out, you got a hold of her. Mommy was super stoked. But also scared. Her mom hasn't seen her since two days before she died in that vat. She's scared because of how her own mother will react to her not just being alive, but being a giant living pink toy with extensive limbs.
Mommy is nervous at the moment. She's sitting on the couch. You're next to her. You say, "Baby. It's gonna be alright. You seem more nervous now than that time you did when you were about to meet my parents."
She says, "Yes, but this is my own mother, (Y/N). She hasn't seen me in thirteen years. I don't want to see my own mama freak out at the sight of me." You face her and you say, "Molly." She turns to face you.
You put your hand on her face and reassuringly, you say this, "My pink princess. Everything's gonna be fine. I promise you. You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life and don't you forget it." She smiles and says, "Awe. What would Mommy do without you?~" You lean in and you kiss her. She kisses you back.
You pull away and you say, "I'll get you something to drink." You suddenly hear a knock on the door and Mommy gulps. You grab her hand and you say, "Sweetheart. It's okay. Calm down." You bring her hand up and you kiss it. You let go of her hand and you walk to the door.
You open it and there stands a woman with brown hair and a bit of gray in it. Green sweater, blue pants, glasses, etc. You say, "Hi there." She says, "Hello. Miss. (L/N)? From the rich family?" You say, "I'm her. Are you..." She says, "Yes. I'm Shelley. Molly's mother." You gasp and you smile saying, "Come in. Please? She's here."
She comes in and says, "What? But... She's been gone for thirteen years. I lost my baby in that vat at Playtime Co. She was only twenty. I..." She suddenly hears this, "Mama." She stands still as she hears that voice. She looks to her right and she sees a tall long limbed pink toy with pink hair, a pink dress, green eyes, etc.
Shelley says, "She... she looks exactly like a toy version of her. My... Molly." She approaches Mommy. Shelley says, "Could it really be you, Molly honey? After all of these years?" Mommy looks at her and she says, "M... mama. Yes. It's me." You see the tears about to form in her eyes.
Shelley has the same happen. She says, "Oh my god... Molly!" She pulls Mommy close to herself for a hug. Mommy wraps her arms around the older woman who does in fact turn out to be her mother. Mommy says, "Mama!"
Shelley bursts into tears and she says, "Oh, my little girl. Y-you're here. You're back." Mommy strokes her hair and says, "Mama... It's okay. I made it out. I was stuck in that factory for so long. Seen as a monster." Shelley says, "Oh, my baby."
You sigh and you smile as you see their bond. You're happier that you noticed that Shelley realized this is in fact her daughter turned into a giant plastic doll after falling into that vat years ago.
Mommy pulls away. Her mom looks at her and she says, "Molly. I don't care what you are. As long as you're here. You're my little girl, no matter what." Mommy says, "Mama. I was so scared. I didn't think... you of all people would accept me after becoming... this."
Shelley says, "Molly. Honey. Don't ever think that. I've told you before... No matter what you are or what you become... you are my daughter. My life. My little girl. I recognized the voice, the green eyes and the hairstyle when I saw you, sweetie. A good mother never forgets, Molly honey." Mommy smiles and says, "Oh, mama." They hug each other. You sigh and you smile.
Shelley pulls away and looks at you. She says, "I want to thank you for getting my Molly out of there." You say, "Not a problem. And umm... There's something else you need to know, Mrs. Martin." She says, "And that is?"
Mommy holds her hand up and reveals the ring to her mom saying, "Look, mama. I'm an engaged woman, now." She shows the ring. Shelley gasps and she says, "H-honey. Is that... a ring? To get married?" Mommy says, "Yeah. To (Y/N) here."
She looks at you. You nod. Shelley looks at Mommy and says, "I'm glad you've found love, honey. I'm sure (Y/N) will be a good wife to you as you will to her. When are you two getting married?" You say, "The day before Halloween. So, October 30, 2005 is the date."
Shelley looks at Mommy and says, "Honestly honey... You've made a wise decision to choose a girl instead of a guy." You say, "My mom was telling me the same when I came out to her as a lesbian." Shelley says, "I'll definitely be there. Anything to watch my daughter walk down the aisle."
You say, "I found her at the factory and she grew on me. Mommy Long Legs was my favorite doll growing up when I saw her on the commercial back in 1991. Before I realized that she was based off of Molly here."
Shelley sighs and says, "I'm fully aware, myself." You and Mommy look at her. She says, "I saw that same doll on TV back then and noticed that she looked a lot like Molly with the hairstyle and the green eyes. And my poor Molly was bullied for her height. She was at least six feet tall compared to her classmates. She had no control over that. And she was such a pretty girl, even before she became Mommy Long Legs."
Mommy faces her and says, "You mean to tell me... you knew all along?" Shelley says, "Part of me was wondering why they've based a doll off of you. Much to my joy, but then I found out you were dead. My little girl. Life was not the same after being told the news about you."
Mommy says, "I wish I could've seen you sooner. After I became this... monster." You say, "Molly. Babe. We went over this. You are NOT a monster. The ones who possibly tried to test on you or pick on you are the monsters. Not you, sweetie. You're more beautiful than anything in the world."
Shelley smiles and says, "Oh, Molly. You've got such a good partner. Stick with her." Mommy says, "Believe me, mama... I plan on staying with her forever. Best part is, we're getting married next year. The day before Halloween like she said."
Shelley says, "I'll be there, honey. A good mother never wants to miss out on her daughter or son's wedding. You're my daughter, Molly. I was there for you after your father died. When I lost you... I was so alone. Depressed. I even tried to end myself at one point to be with the two of you."
Mommy gasps and she hugs her mom saying, "Mama... Don't. Y-you don't know what it's like. Especially the way I went. That vat was so hot. The pain was unbearable for the twelve seconds I was drowning and dissolving in it. It was awful. I..."
Shelley holds her close and says, "Honey. Please. Stop. All that matter is that you're here. I want nothing more than to see you alive, no matter what, Molly." You say, "Hey. Shelley." Shelley looks over at you. You say, "Since Molly and I are getting married next year, I think you should meet my parents as soon as possible." She says, "Alright. Let's meet them... Today." You and Mommy look at her.
