It was three am, George had woken up in a cold sweat back at the cabin.
Scarlett and Tomathy were in their bedrooms, fast asleep. George did have to pull Tommys blanket back over him like he had yesterday while he had to dig Scarlett out of her grave of blankets which would most likely suffocate her if she was under them any longer.
After he had dealt with his siblings he went to get a glass of water from the kitchen which happened to be in the cabin, very convenient. He slowly sipped at the cool water which slid down his throat, helping to calm him and wake him up, sadly he won't be able to sleep for a while.
His brown hair was extremely fluffy and messy, his amber eyes had a glint of tiredness in them, his eyes had faint circles under them indicating he hadn't gotten enough sleep but that was fine, you couldn't see them unless you were actually looking for them.
George sighed and emptied out the rest of his water before leaving the up to drip dry, he walked back to his room and changed into some clean clothes; a blue t-shirt with a black hoodie over the top, dark grey jeans and white socks which his shoes will hide once he had them on.
He walked over to the door and pulled on his black boots which pulled his outfit together, he smiled and walked out of the cabin, closing the door behind himself. He was hoping the walk would clear his head and make him sleepy. He was on day three, the third day of him being here.
George smiled as he walked, slowly walking away from his cabin and into the forest, he hadn't explored much of it but he was willing to right now. He was so mystified, that he hadn't even noticed where he was. He was at the lake where he had first met the man with a god complex. George silently walked along, not thinking only staring at the night sky where the moon was sinking into the harsion, ever so slowly as time went on.
He nearly fell into the freezing, icy cold water of the lake.
Arms wrapped around the burnett's waist, pulling him to a clothed chest, which smelled of sweat and blood. Not the best fragrance. "Be careful princess." The voice was mocking and cold-ish. Smile, this was Smile.
George was pulled back onto land, the child of Hades pulled away quickly. "Don't call me that." he huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Why are you awake?"
"I just woke up. Why are you awake?" George asked with a raised brow.
"I just finished training." Dream shrugged, the mask was getting annoying, George wanted to be able to see his face but wouldn't push it. Dream sat down on the grass, taking the sword off his belt and dumping it in the grass beside him. George decided to sit with dream until he felt tired enough to go and sleep again.
He sat down in the grass, playing with his hands, he had no idea what to do or if he should start a conversation. ""Now, why are you really awake?" George looked up when Dream spoke, his voice was surprisingly soft.
"Like I said I just woke up with no explanation."
"Bullshit. I can tell by your eyes that something happened. What happened?" Dream's voice was slightly more demanding, more cold but it was still soft, comforting even. George gulped and rubbed his hands together.
"Just a nightmare, nothing important." The shorter of the two whispered into the silence of the early morning. Dream seemed to be awaiting more of an explanation "it was about my mother, it doesn't matter.."
"Tell me about her." Dreams' voice was firm, leaving no room to argue. George on the other hand was going to refuse.
"No." He didn't want to talk about the sad excuse of a woman who claimed to be his mother, the person who raised him when he had raised himself and been independent for ten years. She had no right to enter his life anymore. "I don't want to think about her."
