THE AWAKENING OF CASSIOPEIA sure took its sweet time, and when she opened her eyes, she sadly had to discover she didn't know where she was at all — not a single idea in her head.

and what's even worse?

she had no plan or solution for this awkward and unfortunate situation whatsoever. a fact that upset the de beauclaire gift bearer greatly.

"i will torture the person that has put me into this situation until they wish i just ended their life as they beg me to kill them." she promised coldly to herself, snarling grimly as she stood up and ferociously knocked off the non existent dust on her clothing.

it seemed as if she was wearing a simple and minimalistic outfit, a red-green checkered skirt in a typical scottish style, a matching blazer, knee high, long sockets in white and a red, french-style hat.

certainly not her usual attire.

cassiopeia frowned in confusion, although it is a thought through outfit that deserves praise, i still do not remember putting this on me though.

her senses picked up a presence — and in annoyance, as well as relief, she swirled around. a young man stood in front of her who wore an old-fashioned suit.

that looks like it's definitely not from 2000s.

"oh? a guest! how kind of destiny to finally let one of my guests stay." the man in a suit chuckled darkly.

"so this has happened before?" cassiopeia inquired, the side of her whose her thirst for knowledge was insatiable showing again. she had now conclusively identified the species of the man — it was a confusing colour that indicated he was a vampire.

an original vampire.

is there some kind of weird magnet on me that attracts the original family or what?

if she could, she would get rid of it.

original vampires meant nothing but trouble, pain and death, most likely heartbreak, too. she had heard they were a charming family, and those who got themselves too attached usually ended up getting themselves hurt. the original vampires were also known to leave everything they touched in utter destruction, a damage beyond repair. as interesting and fascinating cassiopeia believed the original family to be, she had been taught a few lessons the whole time she was existing, and those mentioned lessons warned her to get too close and too cosy with the originals.
