CHAPTER 5

"Ahem ahem," the sound came from the door and I turned my head towards the it to find this MF

"I know you both are engaged, but Yoongi, at least keep your hormones in place while you are at work." Hoseok teased

I rolled my eyes and pulled myself up, not trying any bit to clear the misunderstanding.

I took a glance at her to see her collecting the papers and standing up from the couch. But the look on her face remained. She was still clenching her jaw, her shoulders were tight, and her eyebrow was curved in. The look was opposite to her confident one; it was something different, not how I know her at all.

"Y/N" Namjoon called out, "You ready?"

"Yeah," she stuttered as she avoided eye contact with everyone.

Why is she so nervous suddenly? Because they saw us like this?

"Let's go, everyone. The meeting starts at 10," Jin Hyung announced, making his way out of the room.

"You Okay? " I whispered, Question, to which she just glared at me straight in the eyes and left the room.

"What the fuck..."

"Y/n. Why do you think creators will agree to a 50-50 Revenue division? "

"They will, the gold and silver creators of this business strategy, aren't the creators with millions of subscribers and followers; the gold and silver creators are groups that have been ignored by big names, and they are in big numbers. These creators would have higher revenue but less popularity. Getting these creators on board and making them go big by providing brands, PR, and in-house collaboration with artists managed by us and the bigger brands managed by you is a bigger opportunity. No creator will want to miss this opportunity, even if they want to give up 50% of the revenue, knowing that it will be doubled in a few months."

She gave everyone an overview of the ideas we have for our project and also the marketing plans that will double the income at the same time.

And believe me, she is so good at it. Explaining her point with a strong and confident aura. She is such a talented being. And not to forget, her ideas for this project are light!! And I am pretty sure Jin is impressed. I mean, even I am.

But No! This deal can't happen! This shouldn't happen because if this deal is approved, the HODs of both companies will be working together, which are I and Y/N. This would be a death for me.

Jin: I loved it. What do you all think?

Namjoon: It's great. especially the target market.

Jhope: The marketing tactics are amazing. I feel that with just enough changes, we can easily get big numbers.

Jin: Others?

Nearly everyone was positive about the idea. there were some queries from respective teams but no one said 'NO'

Jin: Yoongi? Your final thoughts

Me: NO!

I voiced out. And the room fell silent. All eyes are looking towards me.

Jin: What, No?

'No! This Project cannot happen! Bullshit this is! I have a lot of problems with this!'

Me: NO! As the Manager. I see the HODs coming to me with a lot of issues. Outreach. How are they supposed to connect with these creators? CRM department. How can we promise 2x growth if the creators won't work at all? If they are small creators with less popularity, there is a reason for it. Even if we explain the problem, they should work on it. And no brand will work with such small creators, so I oppose the idea.
