CHAPTER 4 [ Tanah ]

[ Present ]

Tanah p.o.v:

Cahaya's personality isn't like before he seemed to just roll his eyes everytime he gets scolded for fighting with Petir again, dear Lord why is this happening?? Everyone is fighting and Tok and I are trying our best to mend this, until Dad comes back home.

Everything is way to stressful every day, months and years go by it gets worse and worse...

But I'm sure this year will be a different one I'll try with everything I got to mend this family!

Me and Tok aba cooked food for the rest.

"Ah Tanah wait here ok? Someone's calling" Tok gently smiled.

"Ok Tok!" I set up the table, Air went down first of course he smelled the food and already wants to eat!

"Smells delicious" Air sat down the chair.

"Air we have to wait for the others" I said with a blank face.

"I hope they go down fast so we can eat you and Tok's delicious food" I just smiled hearing that.

Air and Daun were the only ones who had so little change.

Air was just distant towards Cahaya, but overall the same.
Daun avoids Cahaya but I can see that he genuinely misses him , but he's just scared he might anger him.

Daun came down with Angin and Api racing down the stairs which I told them not to do.

Daun p.o.v:

Tanah glared at us that's not good-

"Uh-uhmm... Hi?" I nervously waved my hands.

We are so dead.

"Uhm HI TANAH UHM WE DIDN'T-" Angin tried to excuse us.

Tanah tugged Api and Angin's ear then mine, welp- my ear hurt.

"Tanahhh--" Api groaned.

"No. racing. down. the. stairs." He glared once more which made me shiver.

"How pathetic Trio Trouble Makers making stupid decisions again?"

The voice was definitely very familiar.
It was Cahaya.

"Cahaya." Tanah looked at him disappointed, he just rolled his eyes.

Why isn't he scared of him??? Is he asking for a death wish or something?? Or is he actually crazy?? So many questions.

Petir went down and pushed Cahaya aside he almost fell off the stairs.

"PETIR! YOU-" Cahaya said angrily.

"Cahaya, stop screaming it's 7 am! Also Petir apologize he could've gotten hurt!" Tanah scolded.

"Sorry I guess, honestly don't care" Petir scoffed.

"Ugh." Cahaya just rolled his eyes.

Angin looked uncomfortable with the energy in the room and I held his hand and smiled at him which looked like it made him feel better but I'm not really sure.

"Here we go again...in the middle of the morning" Air yawned and flopped his head on his whale plush that came out of nowhere.

"Where did-" I was cut off by Tanah saying "Let's just eat stop arguing" he looked like he's having one of those 'headaches'.

The breakfast table was very quiet no one spoke. Tok aba went back and ate with us, he also seemed to notice the silent atm-amtos? Sphere? Is that how you pronounce it?? I don't know.

He broke the silence.

"Your father and uncle Mechael is coming back from work! Aren't you all excited??" Tok smiled brightly.

"OHHH!! YEY!" I shouted with my mouth full.

"Daun-"

"Ooopsy...sorry Tanah" I rubbed my head.

"Wow yey he's coming home" Cahaya looked unimpressed.

"Be grateful you-" Petir was disturbed by Tanah glaring at him.

"Cahaya, aren't you excited for ayah and pakcik to come home?" Tanah asked Cahaya.

"Yeah I guess." He looked away from Tanah's gaze.

Tanah just sighed.

"We are gonna be working on this tension between us all until Ayah comes home"
Tanah had a serious tone and facial expression.

"What tension? We are fine" Cahaya looked annoyed.

"Yeah right, we have tension because of you!" Petir rolled his eyes.

"Eh?? Really you're the one hating me for something I can't control!" Cahaya glared at Petir.

"I'M NOT ANGRY AT YOU ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THAT! I'M ANGRY AT YOUR ATTITUDE YO-"

Tanah tugged both Petir and Cahaya's ears.

Tanah looked mad oh no...

"WILL YOU TWO JUST MOVE ON???" Tanah screamed frustrated,annoyed and tired of all this bs.

"YOU ARE NOT GOING TO SCHOOL UNTIL YOU TWO SAY SORRY TO EACH OTHER! RIGHT. NOW!"
He's tired of this it was very obvious he's really disappointed.

I was shaking he's so scary!
Api,Air and Angin all stayed quiet not wanting to be involved in Tanah's wrath.

"Sorry." Petir said looking down on the floor.

"Eh." Tanah glared at Cahaya. " Fine I'm 'sorry' "

"Cahaya Petir was genuine! Why can't you be?" Tanah looked even more frustrated.

"Fine. I'm. Sorry. OK??" Cahaya screamed ended up getting slapped by Tanah.

Tanah was crying, he was so disappointed hurt , and betrayed by Cahaya he disrespected him. It was terrible. What happened to his sweet brother?

"Alright that's enough." Tok aba looked extremely disappointed.

"We will talk about this after you all go to school" he was serious.
