The Day I found Love

Chapter 3

After I went to get coffee with Ryder Kaitlyn picked me up and we went shopping. Apparently she already has a party to go to. " How are you already popular? We have been at this school 1 day and you already have a ton of friends." I complained. " I talk to people. You know how I'm social. But, Talia I know how much it hurt when Madelyn betrayed you."  The truth is I missed Madelyn. She was my best friend until she became popular and changed.

Thinking about Madelyn made me scared what if Ryder did the same thing. What if I got close to him and he became mean to me. I started panicking next thing I know I was hyperventilating. Kaitlyn flicked me in the forehead and I came back to reality. " Ryder is will not be like Madelyn. My new friend Alice is Ryder's older sister and everyone said he is really nice." Kaitlyn comforted me. I'm so lucky to have my sister.

                KAITLYN POV

After seeing  Talia so scared and panicked made me worry. She used to be the happiest kid in school. Ever since Madelyn betrayed her Talia changed.Her grades dropped, she stopped coming out of her room, she started getting overwhelmed, and and was never as happy as she used to be.

The truth is I missed my happy energetic little sister. I decided to talk to my parents about the situation. When we got home from school Talia ran straight upstairs to her room. " Mom dad we need to talk now." I was determined to help my sister.
" What is wrong and why is your sister so quiet?" Mom questioned. I went on to explain the situation to them and they understood and even agreed. They decided to get Talia a therapist.

TALIA POV

I  wish I could make friends like my sister can. I than realized I had gotten a text from Ryder. Can we FaceTime? We need to talk. As soon as I read that I panicked and started crying as he FaceTimed me. Against my better judgement I joined the call. " Talia are you okay? Why are you crying." Ryder asked me if I was ok and I opened up to him and told him my past.
" I um actually wanted to talk to you...I like you like a lot." As soon as he said that I started choking on my water.
" I like you too a lot." I started blushing.

Ryder likes me he really really likes me. " Talia Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me totally nervous. " Of course." I tried to remain calm, but by judging Ryder's face I was too excited to contain it.
