I got onto the plane waiting for it to go off. I was on my own but I was used to it by now. I knew that Mike would be taking off soon. He had a 6:30 flight I had an 5am flight. I know I will pass Mike somewhere in my flight.

A few hours later.

I had finally landed. Mr Sinclair was picking me up from the airport to take me back. I grabbed my bag and was walking towards the entrance.
"Alex." I heard someone call. I looked in the direction and it was Erica.
"Erica." I called she ran towards me and hugged me tight. I picked her up slightly.
"I missed you." She whispered into my hair.
"I missed you too hey is that my shirt?" I asked the girl.
"You were giving it away and Lucas said it was alright." She answered.
"Hey do I get a hug?" A voice asked. I put Erica down to realise it was Lucas. I ran to him and basically jumped into his arms.
"Yes you do." I whispered into his neck.
"Hey baby." He whispered.
"I missed you." I mumbled.
"Hey we gotta go if you want to miss traffic." Mr Sinclair stated.

Not long after

We were back at the Sinclair's house. Lucas had to go talk to his basketball friend's I didn't care because I wanted to go see Dustin.
"Dusty Alex's is here." Mrs Henderson yelled after I spent some time with her.
"Alex." Dustin yelled. He ran towards me.
"Hey Dustin." I cheered hugging him. We went inside to watch the news.
"This is Beverly Moss, singing off for..." The news woman stated.
"My heart can't take it anymore. It just can't take it." Aunt said. I called her aunt sometimes. The doorbell rings. Me and Dustin dive to open the door. I did miss doing this whenever the door bell rang us two would race to open the door. Dustin opens the door to see Max.
"Hey Max." I stated looking at the red haired girl in front of us. Max came in and explained everything.
"Chrissy Cunningham?" Dustin asked.
"Isn't she the cheerleader and dating the captain or something of the basketball team?" I asked. Dustin nodded.
"You sure it was Chrissy?" Dustin asked.
"Yes in her cheerleader outfit. Same thing she was in when I saw her with Eddie." Max answered. I knew most the people in Hawkings high thanks to my letters.
"Did you tell all this to the cops?" I asked.
"No. No, but I...I can't be the only one who saw them together. They stood out." Max answered.
"Eddie the freak with Chrissy the cheerleader?" Dustin asked.
"Exactly. You know, his name's not in the news yet or anything, but I guarantee you Eddie is suspect number one now." Max answered.
"That's crazy. Eddie didn't do this. No way." Dustin said.
"Maybe." I mumbled.
"No way." Dustin stated.
"We can't rule it out." Max stated.
"Yes, we can." Dustin tried.
"Dustin!" I yelled.
"You don't know him like I do, girls. Okay? When we got to high school Lucas made all his sports friends he had you Alex. Mike and me? I mean no one was nice to us. No one except Eddie." Dustin said.
"What about Ted Bundy?" I asked.
"Okay I agree with Alex. They said the same shit about Ted Bundy. Yeah he's a super nice guy , but then he's murdering women on the weekend." Max said agreeing with me.
"So you both are saying Eddie is like Ted Bundy?" Dustin asked.
"No, we're not saying-- we're saying that we can't presume anything, okay? But it doesn't look good for Eddie." Max stated Dustin sighed before falling onto his bed.
"Why haven't you told the cops huh?" Dustin asked.
"I...I don't know." Max answered.
"You don't know?" I asked the girl.
"After I saw Eddie and Chrissy go into the trailer...something else happened. Nothing that weird or anything. I mean... Eddie always drives like a maniac, and the power goes off at my place all the time. It's a piece of shit. But...This morning, I started to think back, and...I don't know. The look on his face. He was scared, Dustin. Really scared. Maybe he was scared because, you know, he... he just killed someone, or... maybe, um...maybe be...because... I don't...I don't know, maybe..." Max tried.
"Something else killed her." Dustin stated. I suddenly got a massive headache. It has been happening for the 3 odd days. And on top of that bloody noises without me using my powers. I went to Miss Brody about my headaches and bloody noises but she isn't here to help.
"But that's impossible." I piped up trying to forget about my headache.
"Right?" Max asked.
"I don't know. It should be. There was only one person that knows what actually happened." Dustin answered.
"Eddie." Max stated.
"Have you talked to anyone else?" I asked Max.
"No. I can't fine Lucas or Nancy, and Mike's in--" Max went on.
"California." I finished.
"Shit, shit, shit." Dustin stated.
"Dusty Al where are you going?" Aunty asked.
"To see a friend." Dustin answered.
"Bye Auntie." I stated before opening the door.
"You both heard the news. It's not safe." Auntie said just as I got outside. I popped my head through the open door.
"Sorry Auntie duty calls." I stated.
"We'll be careful. Thanks. Love you. Bye." Dustin said closing the door. We biked to where Steve and Robin worked.
"Yo Steve Robin." I stated walking inside.
"Hey, Steve." Dustin stated.
"He- when did you get here?" Robin asked.
"This morning." I answered.
"You see this?" Steve asked.
"How many phones do you have?" Dustin asked.
"Someone was murdered." Steve stated.
"We watched the news." I stated.
"How many phones do you have?" Dustin asked again.
"Two. Why?" Steve asked.
"Technically three, if you count Keith's." Robin answered.
"Yeah, three works." Max said.
"What are you doing?" Steve asked as me and Dustin took our bags off.
"What are you--." Steve said before getting interrupted.
"My pile!" Robin said as I jumped over the counter Dustin followed.
"No, no, no! My tapes! Dude." Steve complained.
"Sorry not sorry!" I said.
"Haven't missed that! What are you doing man?" Steve asked.
"Setting up base of operations here." Dustin answered.
"Base of operations?" Robin asked.
"Stop! Get off." Steve said annoyed.
"I need it." Dustin said.
"For what?" Steve asked.
"Looking up Eddie's friend's phone numbers." Dustin answered.
"Your new best friend Eddie that you think is cooler then me because he plays your nerdy game?" Steve asked him.
"Yes. I never said that." Dustin answered.
"Seriously, you guys, maybe on a Monday you can play around in here like toddlers, but it's a Saturday. It's our busiest day." Robin went on.
"Alright Robin, I totally empathize but this cannot wait until Monday." Dustin stated.
"Oh my god." Steve mumbled.
"What because calling all of Eddie's friends is an emergency?" Robin asked. I started to help Robin set up.
"Correct!" Dustin answered.
"Do you want me to strangle him or do you two want to do that?" Steve asked us.
"We could take it in turns." Robin answered.
"I mean I'll be here awhile so I'll find time too." I stated before walking back to Max and Dustin.
"Can you pair just fill them in while I do this?" Dustin asked.
"Fill us in on what?" Robin asked. Max filled them in while I helped Steve serve people.
"Have you seen or heard from Eddie recently?" Dustin asked.
"Eddie Munson." Max stated.
"When's the last time you talked to him?" Dustin asked again.
"Have you seen him?" Max asked.
"Okay. Sorry to bother you." Dustin stated.
"Do you know anyone who'd know where he is?" Max asked.
"This is taking too long someone has to know something." I stated.
"I really don't think he's at the arcade. Yep, I'm pretty sure." Robin stated.
"Reefer Rick? No. Does this Reefer Rick have a last name? I mean it's kind of..." Max went on. I was already looking on the computer for Ricks who had accounts here.
"All right Doctor Zhivago." Steve stated.
"Max did you get a last name on this Reefer Rick?" I asked the red head behind me.
"No I haven't got one yet." Max answered.
"I'll work with what I got." I stated.
"Hey guys I might have a lead." Max stated.
"Yeah and I'm trying to find out if this lead has a last name and an address." I mumbled not turning around.
"Seriously?" Dustin asked.
"Yeah. Apparently, Eddie gets drugs from this guy named Reefer Rick, and sometimes Eddie crashes there." Max stated.
"Sounds promising. Where does Reefer Rick live?" Robin asked.
"Been trying to work that out for five minutes here Robin." I piped up.
"See that's the thing. No one knows. He's more of a...a legend then someone that people actually know." Max stated.
"What about a last name?" Dustin asked.
"I don't know that either." Max answered.
"Bet the cops know the last name." Steve stated. We all just turned to look at him.
"Hey idiot would you like to repeat that?" I asked the older man.
"What" Max asked agreeing with me.
"Cops. I mean, listen, if this Reefer Rick is actually a drug dealer, I guarantee you he's been busted at some point. Means he's in the system." Steve stated.
"The cops?" Dustin asked.
"What a grate conversation to welcome me back to Hawkings." I stated before turning back to the computer.
"Really Steve? That's your suggestion?" Dustin asked.
"I think they should be filled in on what we know, what's going on." Steve stated.
"I am not stepping one foot in the police station not after my dad." I pointed out.
"We won't take you back there Alex." Robin stated.
"You think Eddie's guilty, don't you?" Dustin asked.
"Woah. I believe in innocent until proven guilty, all that constitutional shit. I just, you know, don't think we can rule it out." Steve stated.
"What the fuck are you going on about you lost me at the start." I mumbled.
"That's precisely what we're trying to do here, Steve." Max stated.
"And maybe we'd have a little bit more luck if you spent less time trying to find a girlfriend and more time trying to find Eddie." Dustin shouted.
"Somebody has to attend to the customers." Steve tried.
"I found him." I tried.
"Especially if they're babes right?" Robin asked.
"Hey not fair. Okay? I attend to all customers equally, babes and non-babes alike." Steve answered I turned to Max.
"Max come here." I stated Dustin was already looking over my shoulder.
"What's up?" Max asked.
"We found Reefer Rick." Dustin stated.
"We've got a very big selection in here. It can be overwhelming for these people." Steve carried on.
"Yeah it can be." Robin said agreeing. "What are you three kids doing?"
"We found Reefer Rick." I answered looking at her.
"Lipton?" Max asked.
"Spelled like the tea. 2121 Holland Road." I answered.
"That's out by Lovers Lake." Dustin pointed out.
"Middle of nowhere." Max pointed out.
"It's the perfect place to hide." Robin stated. We all got up and burst out of the shop. We ran to the car. We suddenly arrived to Lovers Lake. I got out the car first. Dustin kept rining the doorbell.
"Okay. Well that's settled. I guess he's not here." Steve stated he clearly wanted to leave.
"Eddie! It's Dustin!" Dustin yelled.
"Great." Steve complained.
"Look, we just wanna talk okay? No, cops. I swear. We just wanna help. (bangs on the door) Eddie!" Dustin yells.
"Shhh." Robin stated.
"Rick." Dustin yelled again.
"Does that boy have an off switch?" I asked Steve.
"I whished he did." Steve answered.
"Reefer Rick!" Dustin yelled.
"Don't scream that." Steve stated.
"Rick." Dustin kept yelling.
"He's not here." Steve stated. Me and Max started going around the house.
"Reefer Rick!" Dustin yelled again.
"Just..." Steve tried.
"Maybe he could just be really high." Dustin stated.
"Is that a foot?" Steve asked.
"No that's a shoe." Dustin answered.
"Hey, guys?" Max yelled to the trio. The three came to where me and Max were standing. It looked like a shed but it was metal. The others went to take a look at it. I followed closely behind. I stated hearing like a grandfather clock. I turned around slightly to see what looked like a grandfather clock by the car. I pulled my caste tape out my bag and played my favourite song that was on a loop. I felt something tap my shoulder. I turned around to see Steve standing in front of me concerned.
"Alex you okay?" Steve asked. I looked over my shoulder and the clock had disappeared.
"I'm just seeing shit." I answered before playing Don't stop Believing. I walked over to the door and opened it.
"Hello. Is anyone home?" Robin asked. I could just about hear what everyone was saying. We all walked into the place.
"What a dump." Steve stated. I started to look around the place.
"Steve what are you doing?" I asked the man not too far from me.
"He might be in here." Steve answered.
"So take the tarp off." Dustin pointed out.
"If you're so brave why don't you take the tarp off." Steve stated.
"Hey look over here." Max said form the other side of the room. I took my headphones off to listen. "Someone was here."
"Maybe he heard us. Got spooked and ran." Robin pointed out.
"Don't worry. Steve will get him with his oar." Dustin piped up.
"I know you think you're being funny, Henderson but considering everyone in this room has nearly died about a hundred times, personally, I don't find it funny in the slight---" Steve said before getting interrupted.
"Woah." Dustin yelled.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Eddie." Steve yelled. I heard ticking sounds. I looked around the room. I noticed a massive grandfather clock outside the shed. I walked towards where the clock was my headphones was still playing.
"Alex it's about time we meet." I heard behind me.
"Who are you?" I asked the creature in front of me.
"I'm Vecna." Vecna said. I noticed we were in a grave yard.
"Why are we in a grave yard?" I asked. I tried not to show I was actually scared.
"Are you not scared?" Vecna asked. I took the oppertunity to run away.
"Yes I am." I mumbled. I noticed my music was louder then it was before. I noticed a hole behind the creature.
"So you want to join them?" Vecna asked pointing to the bodies behind me.
"No I don't but I want to join them." I stated running off towards where the hole was.
"Alex, Alex come on." I heard Steve yelled. I ran towards the opening I knew Vecna was following me. I managed to get out and I fell into Steve's arms.
"Omg." A mad behind Robin stated.
"Oh Alex this is Eddie." Dustin said. Steve helped me up.
"You okay?" Max whispered.
"I'll not be fine I guess." I answered looking at Max.
"Eddie told us he saw something similar to what just happened." Max whispered I nodded hugging my body tight.
