Hay Lin's POV

"He's your first love, I intend to be your last... However long it takes."

"Aww!" All of us gushed.

Klaus, that was so romantic!

I could not stop myself from grinning. I was feeling hoity-toity with those words. Who would not? I wish someone would say that to me.

We are here at Mia's place watching the last episode of The Vampire Diaries Season 4. It's just girl bonding on a Saturday afternoon.

"I think I'm in love with Klaus," Mia said dreamily.

"Told ya I'm shipping for Klaroline!" I said.

"I'm still on Team Tyler. I mean hello? Klaus is too old and sinister for Caroline," Max said.

"No, he is not!" I retaliated.

"Whatever, I'm still going for Matt. He's a great guy." Bless said.

I snorted, "Oh please! Matt was seasons ago. That ship sank like Titanic."

"Sshh! I can't hear what Damon is saying," Charm complained.

We paid attention to the scene of Elena and Damon.

"...and there's no apology in the world that encompasses all the reasons that I'm wrong for you." Damon said.

"...You've been a terrible person, you made all the wrong choices, and of all the choices I've made, this whole proved to be the worst one but I'm in love with you." Elena fessed up.

Oh geez! The lines are too cheesy! I felt giddy.

"I am shipping for Stelena but I have to admit that this scene is really romantic!" I commented.

"I am always Delena. Just look at them!" Max said.

Mia, Max, and Bless all ship for Delena while Charm and I ship for Stelena.

"I really hate Elena! Why couldn't she just die? How could she be in love with her boyfriend's brother?" Charm pointed out.

"Correction! It's EX boyfriend," Max emphasized.

"That's beside the point. Do you want a neon sign pointing over your head that says 'I'm a slut'?" Charm retorted.

I sided with Charm. "Plus! All her best friends dislike Damon. Even her brother Jeremy! That's clear indication that she should not go for him," I said.

"You mean like you and Hevo?" Charm asked.

"What?"

Charm shot me her duh-look.

"Hevo and I are not like Delena, okay?"

"Of course! You can't be vampires because that would be ridiculous," Max said and they all burst to laughter. My phone suddenly rang and interrupted us.

×oh whoa typical heartbreaker×

I ignored them and answer the call.

"Where are you?"

"Hello to you too," I said sardonically. This guy never knows how to say 'hi' on the phone.

"Where are you?" He repeated.

"Why?"

"Wha- don't tell me you forgot?" What is he talking about? "Just tell me where you are."

"I'm out with my friends, why?"

"You forgot. We made plans for today, remember?" Just like a flash, I remembered he asked me during Yuki's party. "I'm going to pick you up. Where are you?"

"What? No, you can't come here." The brats' head all snapped to me. "Can't we move it to next saturday instead?"

"No, I just asked for this Saturday." He said firmly.

"I'm sorry, okay?"

"No, you don't sound sorry." With that, he hung up. What the?

"Was that Hevo?" Max questioned. I shrugged.

"Hevo is trouble, brat," she warned.

"Told ya he is Damon! Nothing but trouble." Charm said.

Max slapped Charm's arm with the back of her hand. Charm complained, "Hey!"

Hevo has been avoiding -- no scratch that -- ignoring me the whole day. What is his problem?

Isn't that a good thing? My inner goddess asked.

Well, yeah it is.

Why do you even care that he is ignoring you? Isn't that what you always wanted? For him to let you be?

Uh. Yeah. Right! I shake all thoughts away from my head. Anyway, it was not entirely my fault I forgot! He has half of the fault. He did not remind me! Ugh! There I go again thinking of this. Enough already.

"Saturday night was so much fun!" A girl giggled outside my cubicle in the CR.

Another one giggled, "Totally! I can not stop thinking of Hevo."

The other girl laughed, "I know right? I was so glad we were there!"

I furrowed my brows. What are they talking about?

"Let me tell you a secret, okay?" The girl who can't stop thinking of Hevo said in a low voice. Then I heard the main door closed.

"Spill it. I'm excited," the other girl giggled.

"I kissed Hevo."

My eyes increased in size. I leaned in more to the door to hear clearly. I don't usually do this but I can't will myself not to listen.

"Oh my gosh!" The girl squealed.

The girl who kissed my boy-- Hevo giggled. I swear I could just imagine her turning crimson. "It's -- well yeah.. It's just my birthday gift to him."

"Birthday gift, huh?" Teased the other girl. I heard their voices fading and took it as a cue to get out. I had not realize I have been spending a lot of time in the CR already. I went out my cubicle and faced the mirror by the lavatory.

Saturday. Hevo. Kiss. Birthday gift.

I analyzed the puzzle pieces and it hit me.

Sugar!

So that's why he was pissed! That's why he wanted last Saturday. That's why he is ignoring me now!

I went out the CR and ran. I have to find Hevo.
