Hay Lin's POV

I was passing by the hallways when I saw Lexine talking to someone.

"You are nothing compared to me and you have the guts to make me look bad in front of everybody? How dare you!" Lexine said scornfully.

She was bullying the nerd at the party whom she pushed to the swimming pool. The nerd answered her in a low voice under her thick glasses.

"I did not do anything. You made yourself look bad in front of everybody."

Wow. This nerd has sass. I saw Lexine raged.

"You are the one to be blamed! I promise to make your life a living hel--"

"Lexine, leave her alone!" I entered the scene.

"Huh, would you look at that? Another goody-goody. What, Lin? Is she one of your "bffs" now?" She drew quotation marks in thin air.

"Stop talking to her like that, you have no right to treat her that way. She's right. You're the one who is making yourself look bad in front of everybody." I fired. The nerd was behind me. "FYI, You already look bad in front of everybody a long time ago."

"What about you, huh? You don't think that everyone is thinking you're a slut?"

My body froze. Her words sting.

Lexine smirked, "You don't know that? You're Hay Lin Kwan, VH's casanova girl. Everybody's girlfriend. You date everybody. You kiss everybody. Who knows, maybe you sleep with everybody."

I swear my blood raced to my face and my eyes were hot that it's almost liquifying. My reflexes told me to slap her and I did not have second thoughts to obey.

I was so mad at her triumphant face. I want her to eat all the ill words that came out from her mouth. My body was shaking with anger.

Before my palms hit her annoying face, I was stopped by the nerd.

I looked at her in anger.

"Don't step down to her level, Hay Lin." she tried to convince me.

The moment I removed my hand from the nerd's grasp, Lexine opened her foul mouth again.

"Yeah, you should listen to her. She's becoming a good influence on you. You deserve each other."

"If you don't stop talking, I won't regret slapping you back to back and I swear I have hungry dogs to feed you to," I threatened her.

"I wouldn't listen to a slut like you. After being everybody's girlfriend, now you are also Hevo's girlfriend. Total slut."

My hands were shaking in fury. I badly want to slap the sunshine out of her for all the mean things she said. But I fought for control.

"Now, I can see what this is about. You're just jealous that Hevo is mine. He'll never be yours, and I'm not letting him go." I told her. "It's going to take more than your insults just to have him. You know one secret to have him?" I gave her a once over. "You have to be a slut like me. And you," I shook my head, "Are not good enough."

This bout is over and by unanimous decision, I know I won. I've had enough listening to her shallow ill words. I took my drama queen walk and left.

Slut. Everybody's girlfriend. Kiss everybody. Sleep with everybody.

I practically ran to the restroom. Tears started pouring down my cheeks.

Stupid. Stupid Lexine! She just added another reason on my list for me to despise her.
