3rd person POV:

Y/N heard the sound of King waking up which caused them to open their eyes. They were sitting next to Willow, who held King in her lap. A cold breeze swept through the flying ship which made the two witches shiver. The cold brought Y/N to their senses and they looked around at their surroundings. The palismen were cuddled up together in a corner for warmth, Gus was examining his illusionist necklace, Amity was pacing back and forth, probably worrying for her girlfriend. On the topic of stress-inducing lovers, Y/N saw Hunter, who seemed to be helping Alador steer the ship.

"I know how to fly a ship." Alador broke the silence, not even looking at Hunter. Hunter glared at him.

"Then fly faster! We're barely halfway there. Luz could be in trouble!" Amity frantically told her father. Hunter was in a mood and didn't keep quiet about Alador's rude comment.

"Maybe if I took the wheel..." He stated, questioning the steering skills of Alador.

"Very eager to return to Belos, eh, Golden Guard?" Alador snapped back, looking at Hunter with a suspicious glare. This comment made you sit up straight with anger, Hunter wasn't the golden guard anymore, but he was quicker to respond to the statement.

"At least I've never built him an army!" Hunter yelled, getting in Alador's face.

"Watch your tone with me, young man." Alador said angrily, pointing at Hunter.

"You watch your tone with him, old man..." Y/N called back to Alador which made him turn to you. He had let go of the steering wheel and it caused all of us to lurch to the left. Gus was quickly thrown out of his focus and fell off the crate he was sitting on.

"Hey, here's a bright idea: don't distract the pilot!" Gus said in an annoyed tone.

"He started it!" Hunter yelled back.

Amity included herself into the argument which caused all 4 of them to start yelling at each other. You let out a sigh and King put his head down with a sad look in his eyes.

"I can't believe she's gonna face Belos alone again. And I'm powerless to help her. We can't even manage to help each other." King looked so sad, he felt useless. You pet his head, pulling him into you.

"King, you're much more powerful than you give yourself credit for. You've saved us many times and I'm very happy to have you in my life," You comforted King, petting your palismen. "We are gonna be okay! We can get through everything! Everything is going to be okay.." Willow smiled at your innocent thought before picking up Clover and nodded. Clover seemed to understand and rallied up the other palismen. They all pushed over a heavy crate towards the arguing group. Ghost lifted her paw and over the crate to show the healing coven's rations, while mewing. Amity calmed down before speaking.

"Look, we're all exhausted and terrified. Let's focus our energy on helping Luz instead of fighting each other." Amity looked at the 3 other boys with a weak yet calm smile. Alador put the ship on auto-pilot to get some food. Hunter grabbed two pieces of bread and an apple before walking over to Y/N and sitting down.

"Here," He said in a soft voice. He handed one piece of bread to you and the apple to King. " I can't have you passing out.." He sighed out, putting an arm around your shoulders. Y/N leaned into him.

"We are going to be okay, right..?" They asked in a soft voice, hope laced within. Hunter hesitated.

"I'm gonna try my best to make it be.." He promised in a quiet voice, kissing his lover's forehead. Alador had walked up to them, and gestured to the steering wheel with a sincere smile on his face. Hunter quickly finished his bread, kissing you one last time before walking over to the controls and started steering. You quickly felt the speed change as Hunter was able to boost the speed. Y/N noticed amity rubbing her hands together before blowing warm air into them. You tapped Alador and nodded over to his daughter. He wasn't hesitant to cover her hands with abomination goo. As the two start to talk you hear King tell Willow something from your lap.

"That was amazing!" King looked amazed at what a simple act could do.

"There's always a way to help. You just have to look for the right opportunity.." Willow stated, petting Clover who chirped happily. You nodded and lulled King to sleep by petting his head.

"Thanks, Willow. I'll... [yawn] ...remember that." With that King had fallen asleep and Y/N couldn't help but follow.

Alador and Hunter had switched places again. Y/N was up and by his side. A light, coming from under Hunter's glove, caught both your's and his attention. His coven sigil on his wrist was glowing, so was Alador's. The two of them looked at each other nervously before Hunter looked at you with the same expression. King, who was staring over the edge of the ship, face became one of worry.

"Your ship has been reported stolen. Land immediately!" A scout was heard from another ship who came around the corner.

"Ugh.. Mom." Amity sighed with a growl. Gus was quick to cast a spell to make them look like their ship had turned into a group of bats.

"Don't be fooled! Take 'em down!" the scout yelled, but they were In fact, fooled. As the abomatons were distracted, Hunter came up behind the main scout and wrapped his cloak around him. Y/N jumped off their staff and kicked the scout down before jumping right back on the staff on the other side. When you turned around you saw Hunter falling, and he missed his chance to catch his staff. You reacted like the speed of light, grabbing Hunter before it was too late and putting him on your shoulder, making him blush. Flapjack quickly caught up and Hunter smiled as he grabbed his staff. The abomatons suddenly stopped shooting. As you turned, confused, you saw that Amity had turned them off.

"Agh! Why did I make those things so powerful!? Stupid, Alador. Stupid!" Alador yelled, panic written all over his face. Y/N quickly flew up to the, now uncovered, ship. You set Hunter down, before making your way to King, who was curled up in a corner. While you guys were focused on one ship, another had come up behind. The abomatons shooting at the fabric that held the ship in the sky. It caused the ship to start to make a quick descent to the ground. You felt Hunter wrap his arms around you.

Hunter helped you up the best he could with one arm. The draining spell had taken only some of the energy he had in that arm. As Amity was trying to convince her father to come with them, Gus was checking on King, who had a crack in his skull. We all ran to the place where the draining spell was taking place. Hunter left Y/N's side and ran to Darius who was unconscious on the ground. You checked on Raine and Eberwolf. Willow and Amity turned off the abomaton who was holding Eda, who was conscious but barely.

"Darius! Darius please, wake up.." Hunter pleaded with him even though he couldn't hear.

"Hunter! Love, he can't hear you right now..He will be okay! I promise.. We just need to stop belos.." Y/N had knelt down to Hunter, and held his shoulders.

"How can you be so sure!? How!" Hunter yelled. He was scared..

"I'm not.. But I know how strong you are," You started calmly, while rubbing his cheek. "How strong everybody is.. And Darius is very strong! He will be okay! We just need to stop Belos!" You said with a big smile. You felt Hunter put his head against your forehead.

"I just need you to be here..." Hunter weakly said, the draining spell climbing up his arm more.

"I'll always be here.."
