Hunter x innocent reader pt.2

3rd person POV
(You are in the beast keeping track)

“I just need you to be here…” Hunter weakly said, the draining spell climbing up his arm more.

“I’ll always be here..”

Y/N pulled Hunter up by his good arm. He sadly looked behind him at Darius but followed behind you.

“We have to go to the head!” Amity said, pointing towards the skull. Y/N nodded, getting on their staff and waited for Hunter to get on his. Soon, they were flying through the inside of the titan’s head. Y/N stayed close to Hunter since he could keep his balance that well.

“Your arm, Hunter! Are you sure you don’t want to ride with me?” Y/N panicked as they watched Hunter’s arm lie limp at his side.

“I’ll be okay! Don’t worry.” Hunter reassured, giving a weak smile. He seemed dazed. He woke up a bit when we heard Luz and Belos fighting on the bridge that led to the center of the hollow mind. WIllow and Amity were the first to get on the bridge and hold Belos down from attacking Luz. I landed next and helped Hunter off his staff. Gus held King in his arms, concerned for the little pup.

“We’re here to help!” Willow called.

“Did you really think we wouldn't follow you?” Amity smiled brightly, happy to see her girlfriend was okay.

“Yeah, girl. Get with it!” Gus laughed, King looked excitedly between Gus and Luz.

“You guys are literally the coolest!” Luz happily yelled back to her friends, and backed up slightly when Belos strained against the vines.

“No need to rush, but we kind of need to act fast..” Y/N interrupted quietly. They looked out the large opening to see the light, coming from the people of the boiling isle, was getting brighter. Then they looked at Hunter, who was still thankfully able to hold himself up.

“We have to get him to stop the Draining Spell, but he's all berserk mad!” Luz informed us. Willow summoned more vines and Y/N helped pull her back, keeping the beast Belos had become under control, but as the bridge started to crack and crumble, Belos was starting to get free. Y/N remembered the lesson Eberwolf taught them, how to enhance their senses. They enhanced their speed and made their way across Belos and pushed Luz out of the way of the temper tantrum the “emperor” was throwing. Amity ran over and covered her and Luz with abomination goo to protect them from the falling bone/rock material. Y/N was able to dodge them, except for some small pebble sized fragments. Gus ran over, off to the side, and put King in a safe and covered spot. Belos broke free from the plants and started swinging his long limbs at us.

“Hunter!” Y/N yelled, they ran over and casted a spell that shot a giant piece of bone from hitting Hunter.

“Aghh.. I can’t- move my arm..” He strained out. You held his shoulders in concern.

“Shhh.. You’re gonna be okay! Just don’t move it much..” Y/N said, staring at the yellow, glowing lines crawling up Hunter’s arm.

“Alright, Belos. Time for you to calm down..” Gus called, casting a spell which would make Belos’s worst memories become overwhelming. Willow was trying her best to keep the pillars from falling. Adrenaline filled Y/N as they watched Hunter try to save Gus from debris, but more was falling right where they landed.  Enhancing your speed again you picked the two boys up and threw them out of the way. Sadly you weren’t able to avoid it, and it had landed on their leg.

“Augh! Shit… “ You felt stinging tears leave your eyes.

“Y/N! No, no, no,” Hunter ran up to you. “Titan! Come here.. Its gonna hurt but I have to get the rock off your leg..” Hunter winced, not wanting to hurt you but if he wanted you to be safe he had to get the rock off them.
