"You a grown ass man, figure out yo own shit!"

"Crystal! You can't be fucking serious right now! Ain't no way you really doing this shit!" Taurus cried out in utter disbelief as tears streamed down his face. "I thought you said you were gone help me!" Crystal stood with her arms folded.

"And I thought you said you wasn't gone complain if I asked you to do something but I guess not." She retorted, her expression sullen. "If you want someone to help you then maybe don't disrespect them and treat them like shit, that's not how things work." Crystal shoved the last of her belongings into her bag as she marched out of the bedroom. Taurus chased after her.

"But I didn't disrespect you! You want me to do everything for you and that not gone happen, you can do some shit by yo damn self, the fuck you need me to do everything for you?" Taurus argued. Crystal didn't bother to listen. What could he have possibly done to gain such an extreme reaction from her? Did he say something that could have possibly offended her? Was it something he did? Well no, all of this was the result of him not washing the dishes.

"The same reason you need me to protect you from Tione!" Crystal spat while approaching Taurus. "If I can do some shit by myself then so can you! The next time he come in here and do sum to you don't call me, since you don't wanna help me you can figure it out!" Taurus grew anxious. How was he supposed to protect himself and his child on his own? He stood no chance against Tione. Tears filled his eyes once more.

"But Crystal this is different! I got a whole fucking kid to take care of and I can't be subjecting him to this shit!" Taurus protested, pointing to the room where Tremani was sleeping peacefully. "What if Tremani gets hurt? Then what?"

There was no emotion behind Crystal's eyes. "And that's supposed to be my problem?" She questioned, her dull emotionless orbs staring into Taurus'. "You figure that shit out, that's not for me to worry about. If you cared so much then you would've cut Tione off a long time ago. Don't try to be a parent now!" Just as he thought he finished, Taurus began to sob uncontrollably.

"You fucking bitch! Why would you say something like that? I'm doing the best I can!" He shouted through a river of tears. Crystal simply rolled her eyes.

"A parent's job is to protect their kids, right?"

"But Crystal—"

"Right?" Taurus nodded his head while wiping away his tears. "Yet you still friends wit a motherfucker who broke into your house, put his hands on me and stalked you. Don't that sound backwards?" She asked as she walked downstairs. Taurus followed. He couldn't help but to agree with her.

"I guess you're right but you don't understand, I can't just cut him off like you want me to. He's done so much for me." He explained, though Crystal wouldn't listen. Instead, she continued to make her way towards the front door.

"Come on Crystal, you can't just leave me! How am I supposed to protect Tremani by myself?" Taurus pleaded, trying his best to convince Crystal to stay. Without turning back, Crystal shrugged her shoulders.

"That's not my concern! You a grown ass man, figure out yo own shit!" She shouted, before exiting the house and slamming the door behind her. Taurus stared at the door for a moment with a defeated expression on his face. What if she was right? What if Taurus truly was a bad parent?

He sighed as he sat on the steps. It wasn't like he didn't want to cut of Tione; that wasn't the case at all. He just didn't want to be alone. Though Tione's behavior wasn't acceptable, he was all Taurus had. Who else was going to care for him like Tione did?

He wiped the rest of his tears and went to go check on Tremani. Once Taurus caught a glimpse of him, Crystal's words began to replay in his head. His lip quivered as he carefully picked up the sleeping baby and rocked him gently. Tione wasn't the safest person to be around but being with him was far better than being alone. What other choice did he have?
