I groaned opening my eyes as I heard my alarm. I moved my hand around my nightstand in search of my phone. I successfully found my phone and put the alarm off before closing my eyes and letting my head fall back onto my pillow.

I opened my eyes again as my phone chimed signaling that I got a notification. I grabbed it and smiled at who it was.

I rolled my eyes but didn't respond knowing I wasn't going to win. I put my phone down and looked at my packed suitcases. I hate lying to Y/n but I have to. I'm not staying home, I'm going to France today to surprise her.

Y/n and I met at one of my games. She was the trainer for a team from France but she helped me when I got injured because all of our trainers were out and from then we've been inseparable. Well not totally inseparable since she lives in France and she had to go back so we are apart a lot but we try our best to see each other when we can.

I pulled back my sheets and got out of bed making my way to the bathroom. I put on some music and began my morning routine.

I pulled on my shirt and looked around my room making sure I have everything before leaving. I made myself some breakfast and waited for Chris to get here so she could drop me at the airport.

I smiled at Chris as I walked out of my house and locked the door. She came out and helped me put my luggage in the car.

"Damn Tobs, are you going to France to live?" She said exaggerating as she saw all the stuff I had. I rolled my eyes and closed the back door as we finished putting everything on board.

"Whatever, it's not even that much." I said gently shoving her as she walked back to the drivers seat.

I put on my seatbelt as we got in the car and started driving.

Time Skip

I sighed as I sat down at my gate. I drank my coffee as I waited to board my flight. My phone started ringing and I mentally cursed at who was calling me. Normally I would be happy to see her contact but she can't know about the surprise. I made sure my location wasn't noticeable in the camera before answering.
