You walked outside onto the porch and started to put baggage into the trunk. "Children get your bags down and ready, we are about to leave!" You stepped back into the house to get your keys to give to Velyana.
"Thank you, Velya for looking after the house while we are gone." You looked at the short lady in front of you and smiled.
"Of course! You all deserve to have a little break too ya know? Just make sure to be careful and not get your eye jabbed out. Very unpleasant experience telling ya." Velya patted your shoulders and smiled back at you.
"Ok that's enough sappy stuff for a while, get your kids out of here so I can get some rest. I'm not getting any younger and need to get some naps in." Velya walked back into the house and started to push everyone out of the house.
"Come on dears, we need to hurry our flight is in 2 hours and it will be a long drive ahead." You opened the doors to the SUV and urged them to get in quickly.
"Ms. Cardinal, where would we be going?" Sammy asked you out of curiosity.
"Well Ms. V gave us an address to go to Carinholm where there will be a loop and someone expecting us." You squinted at the crumpled piece of paper which has scribbles on it that reads A.P.
"When will we get there? Will we make some friends? Where is Carinholm?" Elvis asked with eagerness in his voice.
"Well we will be finding out soon won't we?" You looked back at him and smiled before you started the car and started to drive to the airport.

"Ma'am, we need to check your bags." Security came over and threatened to kick you out.
"Look I don't know why you need to check our bags but I'm perfectly sure there is nothing wrong with it. I am so sorry if there is anything wrong." You smiled at them and tried to move past the security but they made no effort to move.
"Look the X-ray shows that there is a lot of metal in 5 of the suitcases we need to see-" The lights in the airport suddenly went off and most of the tech stopped working. "Ma'am we need you all to stay here while we go fix the problem of the blackout." The security left to the electrical room while leaving no one to watch over you all.
"Noor, did you consume the lights?" You whispered loudly at her as you motioned your kids to start moving towards the plane.
"I'm sorry but they were getting annoying and would not let us pass." Noor whispered back as you got your children boarded onto the plane.
"Doesn't matter we are going to be late to our designation already because of that event." You said as the plane started to take off. "I need some aspirin" you muttered to yourself and sighed as you closed your eyes and laid into your seat.

"Ms. Cardinal, why are we going into a cave?" Amelia asked you while tightly clutching Noah's hands.
"Don't worry love we are almost there." You said gently as you saw light on the other side.
As you all exited the cave you entered a bright sunny field with children laughing in the distance. You looked around in amazement at how heavenly the place looked. Your childrens were ecstatic that they would be staying here for a couple of days.
You lead them towards the front of a house and prepared to knock on the door before it suddenly opened.
"One minute and fifty-eight seconds."
"What?" You asked in confusion as you looked at the woman in front of you looking at a pocket watch.
"You are one minute and fifty-eight seconds late." The lady said once again with a smile.
You were even more confused about what was happening and tried to let it settle in.
"Welcome to Carinholm, Ms. Cardinal." You looked at the woman once again before realizing how gorgeous she was. Her raven hair is in a neat bun with her green eyes staring back at you smiling like everything is perfectly fine.
"Mom?" Connor looked at you confused at why you have froze. You started to blush to realize you have been staring at the woman for some time and looked away failing to realize the slight dust of pink on her cheeks.
"Hello there, I am Ms. Cardinal and these are my wards. You must be Ms. Peregrine?" You looked back at the woman and smiled after the color from your cheeks left a little but still pretty noticeable with pink.
"Please, call me Alma." She offered another smile back.

Well, it looks like yall have finally met Alma :D. This has been the longest I have written in this story so far and it's coming out kind of badly. But tell me how you guys think :)
I am still crying at how I forgot to save the changes and everything deleted last time.
