The group of five hadn't been walking for a major long time before they came to a stop, Daisy looked up at the building with furrowed eyebrows "a Church?"
"sorry did m'lady want a castle?" Carl questioned with a smirk
Daisy rolled her eyes at him "oh ha, ha" she 'laughed' sarcastically before walking so she was behind Rick
the older man nocked on the door of the church and minutes later it was slowly opened by a women with short brown hair "who's this?" she asked, her country accent almost as thick as Daisys
"they're with us" he reassured her with a nod, she quickly let them all in
the first thing daisy saw when they walked in was rick and carl heading right for a women who was holding a baby girl, Daisys glare softened at the sight but she quickly put her wall back up when the women from before came up to her "hi, I'm Maggie"
the blonde nodded at the women "daisy" she looked to Ryder and Faith who didn't seem to know what to do "they're Faith and Ryder"
Faith gave the women a smile "hi, could I get some help with him?" she asked, Maggie quickly walked over to them with the first aid kit she had in her hand and started rapping up Ryders leg
Daisy stayed in her spot by the door and looked around the place, a man with medium length hair caught her attention
he was messing around with the crossbow he had in his hand, he must've felt her eyes because he looked back at her
he gave her a quick nod, he waited till he got one in return before he went back to his weapon
the man was blocked from Daisys view when carl stepped in front of her with clothes in his hands "I thought you might wanna change out of those bloody clothes" he said passing the clothes to her "I've got some for them but they seem....occupied right now" he said motioning to Faith and Ryder who were arguing with each other while Maggie rapped Ryders wound
Daisys face scrunched up as she watched Faith smack Ryders arm "yeah" she paused turning back to carl "uh, thanks" she said taking the clothes from him with whatever smile she could master
carl nodded and pointed to a bathroom to their right "you can change there"
she gave him a nod before walking over there and into the room, once the door was shut she striped wincing at the smell of blood and guts that lingered on her clothes
she put on the clothes carl had given her, making sure to go slow on her left arm to put the least amount of pressure on her spirant wrist as possible
when she finally got the last of the clothes on she took a minute to look them over, the shirt was a grey long sleeve and some women's jeans that were almost too big for her
she grabbed her other clothes and walked over to were Ryder Faith and Carl were sitting, Ryder and Faith now had their own clothes to change into
she went to sit next to carl as Faith got up to help Ryder into the bathroom Daisy was just in so she could help him change
Carl looked at the girl when she sat down "do you like them?" he asked motioning to the clothes he had given her
Daisy looked over at him surprised, she wasn't expecting him to want to talk to her "yeah" she nodded "the shirts too big but it's comfortable" she said causing him to laugh
"sorry about that, it's mine" he said earning a small laugh from the blonde
carl smiled at the girls smiling face, something about her was familiar but he just shrugged his feeling off
Carl was shaken out of his thoughts Rick came up to him handing him the baby from earlier, he took the child from his fathers arms with a smile
Daisy looked at the little girl with a smile "and who's this?" she asked carl while still looking at the baby
"she's my sister Judith" he replied setting the small child closer to the blonde girl
when she saw Daisy Judith smiled, Daisy made a weird face earning a laugh from the girl
Judith reached her small arms out to her "you wanna hold her?" carl asked
Daisy was caught off guard by his trust in her but nodded with a smile taking the girl from him, she sat the Judith between her waist and her thighs scooting closer to carl so Judith could see him clearly
Daisy turned her head to carl "hay, do this" she told him sticking out her tongue and crossing her eyes
carl copied her actions before they both turned to Judith at the same time making her laugh hysterically, the two kept making different faces to make the girl laugh unaware of the looks they were getting from the adults
rick watched the three kids with soft eyes "I like her" he herd Maggie say from behind him, he nodded at her "yeah me too"
