Chapter 1: Ties That Bind

Y/N POV

Me and Clem are walking down the road in silence. Clem has been real depressed as of late and i'm trying to make her happy but it may not be enough.

Clem: Hmmm.

Y/N: What is it?

Clem: I was... Just think about AJ.

I stop in front of her and she buries her head into my chest and starts to cry.

Clem: [crying] I wish I could've done more for him.

Y/N: I think the same Clem.

Clem: [crying] Why did they have to take him from us?

Y/N: I don't know honey but I fucking hate them for it.

Clem continues to cry into my chest.

Y/N: I've been thinking about Carley.

Clem: [crying] I miss her too. Why does everyone we love eventually go away?

Y/N: I don't know Clem but I hope we find her again one day.

Y/N: Hey where's that beautiful smile?

Clem looks up at me with a weak smile and I wipe the tears away from her cheeks.

Y/N: There it is.

I kiss her on the lips and she giggles.

Clem: You'll always be my teddy bear.

Y/N: You'll always be my honey bun. Even if you're short.

Clem punches my chest.

Clem: Hey!

Y/N: But I still love you.

Clem: I love you too.

We kiss again and continue to walk down the road.

JAVI POV

I wake up in the passenger seat of a truck with my hands bound.

Javi: Hey, my family. Where are they? What did you do with my family?!

Javi: Fuckin' asshole.

?: Just do us both a favor and pretend you're still asleep. I wouldn't start talking if I were you. You're lucky we do things a certain way. I'm already tempted to put a bullet in your brain for what you did to Lonnie back there. If we start talking, I'm gonna get angry.

Javi: What happened to him was an accident--

?: Yeah. Right. Keep talkin', we might find ourselves in a similar accident. You get what I'm saying?

Javi: Please, you have to believe me. We were just--

?: Not another word, or God help me, I'll put you to sleep myself.

Y/N POV

Y/N: Hey Clem see that truck?

Clem: Yeah.

Y/N: Let's take it.

Clem: Okay.

We run over to a tree then push it over onto the road and the truck swerves into the ditch. We see two men get out of the truck and one aims a gun at the other.

?: Hey!

One of the men points the gun at the other. The other stops running and raises his hands. The man with the gun shoots him and me and Clem approach him and Clem points her shotgun at his back.

?: Fuck... Yeah, alright...

he drops the pistol.

Clem: That's good. Just keep looking forward.
