Lizzie had just abandoned the Salvatore school, her legacy. y/n knew this yet she still felt that she had to find her girlfriend. Explaining why she was sat quietly in the corner of a cafe, watching as Lizzie and Auroras personalities clashed. They were arguing about how they could fix things, Lizzie wanted Josie, get dad and y/n back. The irony was that she hadn't even realised y/n wouldn't leave her like the others would, "only death can take you away from me." Is something the pair vowed constantly, especially when they were worried of losing one another.

Y/n was slumped in a corner, trying to make it look like she was reading the book in front of her. Really she was stealing glances at how beautiful her girlfriend looked, well not stealing glances more like staring. Y/n's e/c orbs lingered on her girlfriend, taking her in.

Lizzie and y/n had always been drawn to each other from day one. At first, Lizzie was hesitant and was a bitch to the girl merely because she wanted her so bad that it hurt to even think about her desire. Upon Malivore, the two grew closer and eventually decided to date as that was what they both wanted. Y/n had only came to the Salvatore school as her and her foster brothers, Landon and Rafael, had decided to stay and she stood by them no matter what.

Lizzie could smell her girlfriends scent from across the cafe, her vampire senses were odd to her. Over the sweetness of the muffins and cookies she could know her girlfriend was here. She imagined all possibilities of what could happen, falling into a daydream world.

"Elizabeth, are you listening to me?" Aurora said angrily, snapping the heretic out of her thoughts,
"Huh? Yeah." Lizzie quickly replied,
"Who's that girl over there, the one who is obviously looking at us?" Aurora asked bluntly, pointing at y/n.
"No one." Lizzie stated, trying to ensure the older vampire knew she was not lying.

Aurora walked over to y/n, the girl kept her head in her book. Looking over any words on the page, feigning interest in the boring book.
"My name is Aurora De Martel." Aurora announced, in her usual way, curtsy and all. The girl looked up at her,
"Hi?" Y/n said, but it came out more as a question,
"Who might you be? Elizabeth seems to know you." Aurora replied, tossing her red locks over her shoulder.
"Don't answer that." Lizzie added quickly, vamping in front of y/n so that Aurora couldn't hurt her.

"So protective over this little human." Aurora mocked, clicking her tongue,
"I-I'm y/n." Y/n spat out, attempting to push her overprotective girlfriend out of the way,
"Lizzie's girlfriend." Y/n finished shyly,
"Well that might explain the overprotectiveness. I've heard lists about you." Aurora replied kindly,
"What are you doing here?" Lizzie asked, turning to her girlfriend,
"Finding you. Only death can take you away from me." Y/n elaborated, a smile pushed its way onto Lizzie's lips. She hugged y/n, then kissed her forehead.

"As lovely as this is, we have business to get to Elizabeth." Aurora chimed annoyingly, bringing the girls out of their embrace,
"Can I come?" Y/n asked Lizzie, with the puppy dog eyes she couldn't resist,
"Fine." Lizzie snapped,
"But your not doing anything else but helping." Lizzie insisted,
"Oh! I make a good hunter though. Jeremy taught me a lot." Y/n replied,
"Jeremy? Seriously?" Lizzie mocked at her girlfriend,
"Fine." Y/n sighed, before leaving the cafe with the pair.
