[Doctor's POV]
"I almost forgot what it's like being on my own for a bit" I thought aloud as I grazed the controls of the TARDIS with the tips of my fingers. It's only been 2 hours since I dropped off the fam and I'm just staring at the axbras constellations like it's my hundredth time seeing them, which it probably is.
The most beautiful cluster of stars from the best viewing point in the while universe and I still feel like shit. I giggled at the thought of that word, a whole volume of an encyclopedia series and half the universe knows me and still only 4 people in it knows that I swear.
I sat there with my thoughts 'till I heard a ding from the monitor, I ran to it as fast as I could as if my life depended on it. Well, maybe not my life but my sanity certainly because I know from when I was Scottish, leaving me in silence for too long is a bad idea.
As I turned the monitor I saw a Zygon distress signal coming from a town in North Yorkshire. "Aw brilliant!" I exclaimed knowing that this could kill my boredom for a while and so I set the co-ordinates into the TARDIS and away we went! Right into the danger, as it should be!
Unfortunately, I forgot to close the doors and was almost blasted out into the time vortex's red glare but was saved by the coat stand that I had to nail down so it stopped falling over. Clicking my fingers, the doors closed and the old girl gave me a wheeze of disapproval.
We landed in a very old looking house full of cobwebs 'not again' I thought as I recalled the last time I dealt with giant spiders was not nice. I soniced the Web and thankfully they were normal spider webs. I did, however, hear a noise coming from the next room that I presumed to be some kind of gala judging by the look of the place.
Carefully, I walked over to the door and as I crept closer I heard a somewhat familiar voice from that room along with laughter. The voice was hard to place but then as I opened the door I realised who the voice must have belonged to "Graham?" I said, shocked.
A/N (author's note): sorry for such bad writing in this chapter, I really didn't know how to write as the doctor so I did my best. Next chapter will be better, I promise.
