Opening my eyes I look at Subaru with a raised brow as we both walk away from the shopkeeper to sit on a random group of steps.

Y/n: "So what was up with the whole saving Felt thing?"

Subaru: "Eh it was a bad try, I figured since we know the one who killed us in the first save is Elsa, I figured reset with backup this time . . . Also what happened to you? Did she kill you?"

Y/n: "That's the thing, when you died I started to disappear into motes of light. I think it's like halo L.A.S.O one player dies we go back to the checkpoint"

Subaru: "That sounds like a good and bad thing but we can learn the bad at a different time"

We both sigh as I take out two Cigs and pass one to Subaru.

Subaru: "Ya know It's weird, I said I'd never smoke before in my life, yet here I am taking a drag"

Y/n: "I mean once you have a respawn ability, You can start betting your life on stuff"

It was a comforting silence between the both of us before a silver-haired elf walked past and down the road. Subaru turns to me with a brow raised as I just nod.

Y/n: "By the by. Satella is a false name"

Subaru: "Yeah I figured. When we were walking around every time I said her name while talking to her others would start walking faster or shoot glares at her"

Y/n: "Welp go get her man, meet you back at the loot house"

We fist bump before he runs off leaving me on my lonesome. I look to the sky for a few seconds as that feeling from the first reset goes off again.

y/n: "I don't feel any malicious intent from whatever that was, but where is it coming from?"

Standing up, I take one more drag from my cigarette before letting it fall. I made these cigs out of a fungus that relieves stress and calms the nerves, so it will naturally decay on its own.

Y/n: "Time to get this over with"

With a quick walk, I nearly make it to the loot house before I feel a tremor through my spine and realize I'm starting to disappear again causing me to chuckle.

Y/n: "Damnare dude non relinquam te solum pro momento"

Finding myself back in front of the Appa stand we both walk away I look at Subaru with a smug grin as he tries to hide his face in his hands.

Y/n: "So~ What happened~?"

Subaru: "When the elf girl and I were walking through an ally I got tripped up on some steps and snapped my neck on the street"

Y/n: "Damn! you sure you don't have bad luck?"

Subaru: "I got pretty good rolls on gacha games"

We both sit down on some steps again as I take out another cigarette this time an Flv: CC while Subaru sets this world's time on his phone.

Subaru: "Ya know it's kinda hard to believe, We're in a new world with some kind of time leap ability"

Y/n: "Yeah but we've had worse . . . Also, we need a name for that ability besides 'Time leap' I'm just gonna call mine 'RTTP' or 'Return To The Past'"
