❝ And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime. And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine. 'Cause I'm in a field of dandelions. Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine  ❞ ― Dandelions, Ruth B

CHANGMIN CAN FEEL HIS PULSE REVERBERATE in his neck. Turning his head in the voice of the direction, he melts at the summer fling smile slipping across Hyunjae's face. Hyunjae is the school's star basketball player, adored by the campus, and never ever fails to win the basketball match with his team for their university. But behind closed doors and dim lights, heartbreak awaits the next morning.

But Changmin has loved him for too long—freshmen in high school, clad in a jersey, slick ginger hair pushed back, fingers brushing against his, asking, "Can you play basketball?"

Changmin's answer was simple.

"I don't know how to."

"I can teach you," voice smooth like golden honey, and then the game of love began.

He's a player, you idiot, yet you still love him.

Hyunjae hasn't changed, and neither has Changmin.

"What?" Youngjae's voice is barely above a whisper, cinnamon eyes sparkling in astonishment at the command. No one has asked him directly, and it's so sudden that he doesn't know how to react but to stare at him in confusion.

Sure, he's joked and practiced drama lines with his best friends involving the word 'kiss' in the dialogues or description, but this isn't the same.

Youngjae can't act if this is the case for Changmin.

He's honestly a laughing mess—a child at heart, who knows innocent love, and intimate love but never has fallen in love before. Has never kissed before. Has never found himself in a position to initiate.

"What, you can't do a favor for me?" Changmin looks at Youngjae, hands clenching around the collar of his white-buttoned shirt. Couldn't he think of a better idea than this?

He's making a fool out of himself by asking Youngjae, and what better idea, than to make a love interest jealous to find if the love is mutual?

It's stupid. Instead of completing his film assignments, he's been watching romantic comedies.

Kevin wouldn't say Changmin's lying.

Heck, Changmin doesn't like liars.

And Youngjae can't kiss.

It's not that he doesn't want to or thinks it's weird. It's out of nowhere. And when he whips his head over his shoulder, gaze meeting the golden irises of his friend, realization hits him in the chest like a hurricane.
