Chapter 2

Luz's POV

I got ready then looked around the halls to see if everyone was asleep it looked like everyone was so I went to hide, hid near the fornt door and waited for a bit then the doors open and the agent walked in she had something in her hand she put it in her pocket and started walking to the leader's room I followed behind but stayed hidden from her it took awhile before getting to the leader's room you had to take 25 stairs and 25 elevators to get to the top once I followed her to the halls she went straight for the leader's room I hid behind a weapon rack she pulled out the samething that she used to get in from her pocket she looked around then unlocked the door and went in I quickly followed her in and hid in a corner she walked up to the desk and went around it I quickly dashed to the front of the desk she heard me and looked up and looked around then went back to whatever she was doing I snuck around the desk to the left and saw she was looking in a drawer she was looking for files that had secerts in them she found a file, she stood up and turned around and opened the file to read it I stood up and quitely walked behind her I guess she sensed me because she tuurned around and we locked eyes I notice she wasn't the person I expect to be behind the hood and mask she raised her eyebrow at me like she wasn't expecting to see me look like this behind my hood and mask after we locked eyes she pulled out dagger and throw it at me I dodge it that gave her time to escape she ran out of the room, I stood up and followed her I chased hert through the halls and down stairs and elevators she made it out and I was panting I opened the door and chased her outsdie "Wait I don't want to stop you" I shouted she stopped and turned around "What" she asked "It's true I was hired to stop you but I wasn't expecting someone like you to be stealing a file" I said "You weren't well I wasn't expecting someone like you to try to stop me" she said "It's okay you get that file to your leader" I said "Really" she asked "Yeah what's a few secerts going to do" I said "Thanks" she said "Yeah just don't tell your leader" I said "Ok" she said then ran away I walked back to the building and entered I had to catch my breath from running.

Amity's POV

"Well that was werid, why did a the bounty hunter that was suppose to stop me just let me go, she almost had it" I thought to myself I ran back to the building and went to the leader's room "Oh Amity Blight good to see you did you get the secerts" they asked "Yeah I did" I said "Good give them" they said "Whatever you say" I said giving the secerts to them they opened the file and read it "Hmm this has no information on the bounty hunter I need to find go back tomorrow and find another file" they said "Yes" I said "Your dismissed" they said I bowed a little then left I walked to my room and started taking off my clothes until I heard a tap on my window I turned around it was the bounty hunter she was standing on my balcony I ran to the door and opened it she backed up and hang on the edge she was tied to a rope I kneeled down "What are you doing here" I asked "I'm sorry I wanted to see you again" she said "Me too but I was thinking tomorrow the leader wants me to go back to the bounty hunter's base" I said "Ok" she said "But I want to know your name first" I said "I can only tell you if you tell me if we are good" she said "Ok are we good, like good, good" I asked "I don't know you answer" she said "Ok we're good" I said "Yeah we are" she said "Ok my name is Luz Noceda what's yours" she asked "A-Amity Blight" I said "Nice name" she said "You too no get out of here someone might see you" I said "No one is going to see me I'm sneaking" she said "Yeah, yeah" I said then I heard my door open I turned to see who it was "Amity are you asleep" someone said it was my dad I turned back to Luz "Hide my dad is coming" I said "Ok" she said she slid down the rope a bit and I turned around my dad opened my door "Oh Amity you're awake I didn't think you were" he said "Yeah I was getting ready for bed" I said "Why are you standing on your balcony" he asked "Um late night air" I said "Ok well if you weren't awake I was going to ask how was your mission" he asked "It went good I got the file but the leader wants another one they want to find a bounty hunter" I said "Ok well I'll leave you to finish up your late night air and go to bed" he said "Ok thank you" I said "Yeah anytime" he said then he closed my door and walked away I waited until his footsteps weren't heard anymore I took a deep breath out then turned to look at Luz "It's safe to come up" I said "Really your dad is gone" she asked "Yeah gone" I said "Ok" she said then pulled herself up and onto my balcony "We need to be quite the other agents are sleeping any loud sound can wake them up" I said "Ok" she said "Why did you want to see me again" I asked "I just wated to see if we we're good and you don't look nor act like the other agents" she said "You too even though you're sneaky you don't look nor act like a bounty hunter" I said "Maybe it's because I was always put on small missions" she said "Yeah me too until four years ago the leader sent me on this same mission steal files with secerts and bring them to them" I said "Yeah the leader hired me to stop you but I didn't I knew I couldn't do it" she said "Hey it's ok" I said "No it isn't the leader will find someone other than me to stop you next year and I probably won't be there for you" she said "I'm fine if I lasted four years not getting stopped then I can last year six not getting stopped" I said "Ok but the leader will be so disappointed in me once he hears I failed" she said "It's going to be ok" I said "Yeah you're right" she said "Yeah" I said "Anyway so are we friends now" she asked "I think we are it will be good to have a friend but you're a bounty hunter how would my dad think about this" I asked "Yeah how would my adotpted mother think about this being friends with an agent she would probably freak or something" she said "And my dad will never appect you" I said "Ok, ok we won't tell them ok and if they ask if we made any friends say yes and pretend that you're friends with another kid living with you" she said "That's not a bad idea"I said "Yeah I know now can we meet again tomorrow" she asked "Yeah we can before I sneak into the bounty hunter's base ok" I said "Ok then you need to sneak in" she asked "Yeah now go I don't want you getting caught" I said "Ok and I won't get caught I'm the master of sneakness" she said grabbed the rope and getting over the railing "Yeah sure" I said we smiled at each other then she climbed to the bottom and took the rope off then ran away to the bounty hunter's base I went back into my room and closed my balcony door and got my clothes off and my pj's on and laid down and slept.
