Chapter 10

Luz's POV

I was just playing with King then after a bit Eda knocks on the door and sticks her head through "Hey Luz a boy with blone hair, purple eyes, and golden armor is outside and wants to see you" she said "Who is it" I asked "I have no idea from his armor it looks like he is from Emperor Island" she said "Ok" I said then I stood up King grabbed my hand "Can we play after you find out what that guy wants" he asked "Sure" I said rubbing his skull then I walked out of King's room, I grabbed my gun and dagger just in case he attacks me I then went to the main floor Eda followed she was worried I'd get hurt I walked of the base and saw him I walked up to him "So you're the guy who wanted to see me am I right" I asked "Yeah that's right I've come here to take you on" he said I saw some bags under his eyes "Really that's all and man do you look terrible have you gotten any sleep" I asked "That's none of your concern" he said "Ok well then who are you and why do you want to take me" I asked "Who I am is none of your business and I've come here to take you on is because I found out about you and Amity" he said "He knows Amity is he Hunter or someone like that" I thought for a minute "Well what's the hold up fight me" he said "I would gladly fight you but I choose not to" I said I was always taught if someone wants to pick a fight with you, your best option is just to decline I started walking away until he shot at me the bullet just missed my head and it broke part of the window on the bounty hunter base I looked back at him "Property damage isn't good" I said pulling out my dagger "Now I've gotten your attention" he said putting his gun back into his belt "Oh yeah sure you did" I said he pulled out his dagger and ran at me he slashed down and I blocked it we fought for sometime then we were both tired "Give up I'm too skilled" I said "I won't not until you're toast" he said "Yeah, yeah" I said "Whatever" he said he slashed down I blocked he kept slashing at me I kept blocking each slash then I kicked him, he fell to the ground he let go of his dagger I walked up to him but he pulled out his gun and started shooting at me I dodged and blocked each bullet he grabbed his sword and ran at me and slashed at me I blocked it he put his gun up to my head "Any last words" he asked me "Yeah you've made a big mistake" I said I kicked his shin and he groaned in pain and fell down to the ground I grabbed my gun out of my pocket and loaded it and pointed at him "Any last words" I said he looked up at me he slashed his dagger up and knocked my gun out of my hand and sliced part of it blood was dripping from my hand I held it with my other one then when I wasn't paying attention he stabbed me with his dagger I felt warm blood drip from my mouth I grabbed my dagger and stabbed him blood dripped from his mouth too my eyes felt heavy and I closed them and fell, I heard him fall too.

Eda's POV

I stood there in shock Luz was stabbed and fell I insantly ran out of the bounty hunter base and ran over to her and saw a lot of blood drip from her mouth and the boy's dagger was still in her, her blood was sceeping out I carefully picked her up and walked back into the base King was standing there I guess he was getting worried for how long me and Luz were gone he looked at her and gasped tears formed into his eyes "What happen is she-" he asked but cut himself off "She got stabbed and I felt her heart and she is breathing so I guess she is still alive" I said he didn't reposed I walked passed him I felt his hand grab Luz's hand but I walked pass so he let go I ran to the medical center on the second floor "Help my kid has been serverly injured" I said busting threw the door "Ok ma'am let me see" a medic said she took Luz out of my arms and set her down on a surgery table she washed her hands then put gloves on and called over some surgens they told me to step out for the surgery I did and waited I was worried she wouldn't survive after awhile the medic called me back in "So we were able to get the dagger out and keep her breathing going and wrapped the cut on her hand, you're going to take the medical equipment to her room" a surgen said "Ok thanks" I said "Don't metion it" the surgen said they helped carry the equipment to her room and I laid her down on her bed they got every piece of the equipment set up in her room and they left King came in "Is she okay" he asked I turned to him "Yeah they took out the dagger and wrapped up the cut on her hand" I said he came up and grabbed her hand his eyes were filled with sadness and worryness I grabbed her hand as well "She will be okay" I said "We don't know that though" he said I stopped talking and King wanted to sleep next to her for the night I let him I stayed with him until he fell asleep he currled up in a little ball and fell asleep rather quickly I sat up from the bed and kissed him on the forhead then I walked up to Luz and kissed her on the forhead then I left the room and walked back to mine and fell asleep after a long time.
