I sat up in bed and saw Stella sitting on her bed. She smiled at me, "Me and Austin are going to have a pic-nic today at the lake. Wanna join?"
"Um," I thought for a second, "I would hate to intrude." I said honestly.
"You won't be! I promise, it would be fun!" She stood up and walked to the door. She was already dressed in jeans, a blue tight fitting, long sleeved Aeropostale shirt, and uggs. Her hair looked like it was scrunched but I can't really tell. "Well, come out when your ready." She walked out the door and shut it behind her. I sat in my bed until I couldn't hear her footsteps anymore. Once it was dead silent I stood up and walked over to my closet. I took a shower last night so I don't really need to take one now. I decided to wear a white button up, a black cardigan, and my Toms. I fixed my hair into its everyday quiff and headed out. On the way I ran into Stella, "Have you seen Austin?! Please tell me you have seen him?" She looked so confused, and a little scared.
"No, I havn't seen him today.." I looked around the hall trying to see if he was around.
"He hates me!" She screamed, "He fucking hates me!" She slid down the wall.
I sat in front of her and grabbed her left hand, "No." I said sturnley, "He doesn't hate you. He loves you. He told me he loves you two nights ago!"
"Yeah, But that was before..." A tear slipped down her cheek.
"Before what?" I asked.
"Before we... you know.. did 'it',"
I looked at her dead in the eye, "Did what?"
"It!" She repeated.
"It, like, you lost your..."
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes letting a few tears slip.
They had sex..?? So, he checks out other girls, has sex with Stella, and then just ditches her?! When I find him I am going to kill him! I-
A muffled sob brought me back to life. Stella had her knees tucked into her chest and her hands covering her eyes.
"Okay," I pulled her hand away from her eyes and pulled it so she would stand up. She did. "You go to the room and I'll go ask around and look for him okay?" I kissed her forehead and walked off.
I walked to the cafeteria. I spotted Nate and walked over to him , "Do you know where Austin is?"
Tears weld up in his eyes, "You haven't heard?"
"Heard what?" I asked confused.
He took a breath and looked away, "Austin passed away..."
