The Alpha to the Beta

"You don't know what it's like.

You may think you know, but in reality, you don't.

Books can only enlighten you so much; movies, television shows, etc.

Life.

Real life is where you will actually, physically, begin to understand it.

It is painful.

It is like a blast of energy shooting down your spine; feeling as if your back will split in two.

A mixture of both heat and cool.

The tearing sensation; a feeling of literal 'falling apart'.

Suddenly you will begin to tremble.

It starts with your toes, then works its way up; all the way up to the inside of your skull.

Your brain feels like it will explode in seconds.

You will continue to feel this pain until the transformation is complete.

Until every inch of your body is covered in fur.

When your teeth fall out and are replaced with the bloody fangs that will soon tear into the ones you love.

You are the energy.

Your body responds to YOU.

Feel your soul. Feel the last remanence of human life, slipping from the last breath you take from your human body.

As you shift into the unknown, for one brief second you will feel this pain.

Whence you are complete in your new form, however, it is as if you have never breathed so freshly before.

Awaken, my beast."
