Chapter 11

We were walking towards my house, when Nick and Jed appeared. Oh shit. Something was going to go down here today.

"Hey TORI!!" Jed said in a really flirty voice.

"DUDE!! Stop it!! She's mine!! I mean, uh. Umm." Nick replied, realizing that we could hear him.

"Hi guys!!" I said, snickering, and waving flirtatiously.

"Babe. Stop. Please. You're all mine now. You can't flirt with other boys..." Joel whispered, but loud enough to hear.

"What?? Did you like, mark your territory on her or something??" Jed laughed out loud. I started to blush. Joel looked deep into his soul and drained the life right out of him.

"OH MY GOD!! YOU MARKED YOUR TERRITORY ON ERRYNN?!" Jed yelled out, starting to laugh.

"Don't say it like that." I whispered.

"Why?? Is something wrong, Errynn??" Nick said starting to joke.

"Guys, stop it. You're killing me." I said under my breath.

"Oh no, we're killing you?? Better start falling to your knees and passing out!!" Nick yelled, and just then, I puked.

"What the hell, Errynn?! On my brand new NIKES?! Really?!" Jed said, starting to throw a bitch fit.

"Guys. Stop." Joel said, getting very serious.

"Wait a second. You got in her pants, and now she is puking?? Um.. Am I the only one that sees something weird going on here??" Nick said, starting to snicker.

"Are you... Are you PREGNANT, Errynn??" Jed asked, being very serious now.

"Ha!! Good one guys!! You scared the shit out of me for a moment there!! Come on, Jed. Of course she's not pregnant. No guy would stay with a girl if he found out he got her pregnant!!" Nick said, dying of laughter, bending over because his stomach started to hurt from getting no air.

"No. Nick, shut up, I think she seriously is pregnant." Jed said. He always noticed the little things. I think that is one of the reasons that Tori liked him so much. She would walk by him, and when no other guy would say hi, he would. He always noticed her.

He reached out and touched my stomach. Joel swatted his hand away as fast as it got there, and he covered my stomach with his hands, hugging me from behind. Nick looked up to see what was going on.

Jed reached out again, this time, I moved Joel's hands, so that he could feel.

"Holy shit..." Jed said under his breath. "I can feel a little heartbeat in her stomach." He whispered.

"What are you talking about?? That's probably just her pulse that you are feeling." Nick said starting to laugh at Jed, calling him an imbecile.

"DUDE!! WOULD YOU JUST FUCKING SHUT UP ALREADY?!" Jed yelled, turning to Nick, his hand still on my stomach. He looked back, staring at my stomach. "Are you really pregnant??" Jed asked me.

"Yes." I said quiet, so that Nick wouldn't hear. Jed leaned in and hugged me tight. Joel let go.

"Congratulations." Jed whispered in my ear.

"Oh come on. They're just messing with us... Cut the crap guys." Nick said, starting to get really serious about it.

"You know what?! Fuck you Nick!! I did really get her pregnant, and I don't give a shit what you have to say about it!! I LOVE her, and I want this child!! I will NOT abandon her, like you would if you were in this situation." Joel said, letting a tear trickled down his left cheek. I could tell that he really meant what he was saying just then. I started to cry. Joel turned around and hugged me tight. "I'm sorry babe. I didn't mean to make you cry." He whispered into my ear.

"No. It's a good thing that I'm crying. I can tell that you really mean what you just said." I whispered, yet mumbled at the same time.

"I love you. Of course I meant it. I would never run away and desert you." He whispered, starting to smile. I could feel his face move against mine, so I knew he was smiling. There was no doubt in my mind against it.

"Hey Jed," I began whispering in Jed's ear, leaning in really close to him.

"Yeah??" He whispered back.

"Tori REALLY likes you. The other day when you borrowed her headphone to listen to Pandora with her, she got so excited that other people aren't even allowed to touch the thing. She obsesses over you." I said, starting to smile. I knew he liked her too. He may not have admitted it to me, ever, but I can just tell by the way he acts around her.

He pulled away from me. I knew he was going to do something. I could see it by the look in his eyes.

"Hey, Tori, will you, by any chance, go out with me??" Jed asked, dropping to one knee, and looking her in the eyes. He yelled it out so that the whole world could hear him, even Nick.

"HELL NO DOUCHE BAG!! YOU'LL RUIN ALL OF MY PLANS!! SHE'S MINE!!" Nick yelled from next to Tori. He grabbed around her waist, as he began to run away with her. She started to cry.

Suddenly, I hear this loud whistle come from up ahead as I am running after her. A pregnant girl running after a kidnappy?? Not cool.

I looked up and saw her waving her purple whistle that dangled from her wrist. I knew those friendship rape whistles would come in handy one day. I use mine all the time, just for the hell of it, but this was most definitely a time where it was needed.

"I'M COMING STUBBERS!!" I yelled out, as I ran after her. Joel stopped me. He started to run after her, and before I knew it, Jed was past the both of us. He really wanted that girl. I swear, he acted as if his life depended on her.
